Modules not displaying in HUD

First off I have tried >> options, unfitting, buying a new ship, clearing cache, restarting client, Orca fitting, different modules.

The situation is that I died in my Merlin after unfitting modules using an Orca. Now when I fly a Merlin and only a Merlin the only modules (passive and active) that show are the modules I had equipped when I was destroyed earlier. I am wondering if there is a saved file or something somewhere I can delete because it seems like a bug where it thinks the only modules equipped and powered are the ones I had prior to death.

Any insight will help, thank you.

Update, traded my buddy the merlin, he now has the same problem with the modules not showing up
