You know the guy who starts a thread with a bunch of assumptions and no concrete evidence, then argues with everyone that refutes or even slightly disagrees with his opinion?

Won 4 promo blinks times in my first 200 promo blinks. Haven't won a single one since. Up to 1000+ now. Bit suspicious.

I discourage running with scissors.

Don't gamble, house always wins, this is true even for legit gamble businesses.


And if you must gamble, put everything you own on black or red, no matter the outcome don't ever gamble again.

Made all my money off gambling. Was never even close to rich in eve until I started. And Somer blink scam? Why? They take like 15% off every blink that passes through there. No further effort into shill characters or anything required because they've already won.

I wouldn't have thought much of it if i hadn't been browsing the winners section for some of the big wins and found a character only 25 days old winning a VERY lucrative blink and thought it odd.

The details you'll find on this site can be easily verified by searching the characters in-game yourself and if you do take a moment to check the details of some of these characters and their winnings on Somer Blink, you'll start to see some STRANGELY lucky new players and just odd facts that seem fortunately coincidental for these "lucky winners".

I'm 105% convinced that Somer Blink is a scam and i simply won't put any money into it and will try to raise awareness of EVE's longest lasting and most convincing ISK scam.


Its been gone through many times before, the problem isnt Somer scamming people, thats Eve. The problem is/was the link between Somer and CCP which is/was totally unhealthy.

I got banned for no reason

used a proxy due my work network

Yep. That's why a lot of bookmakers operate with 90 to 95% payouts. They could make more profit per bet with a lower payout, but they've found that this level generates more repeat custom, and thus more profit in the long-run.

The game is random. The house odds are very much stacked in Somers favour. The whole shill account tinfoil is unbelieveable. It risks a perfect income source for somer so large that no one could possibly spend it all. The guy can buy titans en masse. The blink staff are reknowned for their friendly and helpful demeanour.
If you play Somer long enough you will lose as is true for all gambling vs the house.
I would rather gamble limited amounts of pretend money (isk) than real money.

Why has no one requested a lock for a redundant thread? fools are easily separated from their money, anyone who plays somer for anything but an occasional laugh deserves what happens.

A lot of people know it's a scam but really don't care. It's fun to play for them. I stay away from it because of the nature of lottos.

Me too, I'm slightly space rich due to gambling. But not on Somer, by sports betting on Eve Bet. Now I'm afraid my isk betting habit might lead to something harder-- such as RL sports betting. Blink

Like I said when Somer Blink first came out, IT IS A SCAM, PERIOD.

It turned out to be a brilliant scam, even CCP fell for it.

All I can do is laugh at all the tears of the people who lost millions/billions of isk.

I do have to give the guys that created Somer Blink kudos for pulling such an awesome scam.

I cannot believe an unregulated gambling outfit in a shady virtual world would scam people.

On the other hand if someone tells me paint is wet, I won't believe them until I touch it.
