If it was working as intended then that dread would now be stuck with 20% armour and everyone killed would locked out of that station.

So yea, its an issue.

Pretty embarrasing for CCP when people ask about this big thing thats going on on Twitch and Reddit with the camp and people are like: "They're not supposed to be able to repair and clone but its bugged." Welp

I've been playing this game for 2 years and everytime we've trapped or camped someone into a station and incapacitated the services its never worked. Its like a perma-bug, or is it even supposed to work like that? Just make them invulnerable if shooting services doesnt do anything.

So this has been going on for 2 years? Weird I thought Baltec said it was a new issue.

Hit and miss it seems.

Yet another thing to add to an ever growing list of broken null mechanics, one starts to wonder if anything out here works...

Well if people knew it was an issue why not mention it 2 years ago...seems odd that only now it is worthy of discussion with CCP. Kinda like a 10 year old drone mechanic that suddenly became a priority issue. But thats neither here nor there. CCP should make a statement about this though.

N3PL devs strike again.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

Things break in space. It's a harsh environment. EVE is real.

All the outposts are broken. Thats a big problem for everyone in nullsec.

Just set everyone in BlueSec to Blue, problem solved...

1) Mittens announces hellcamp and promises epic N3-Tears
2) Instead we get even more goon-tears.
3) ???
4) Profit

Station-Servives have been broken for a loooong time(e.g. repairing after dowtime as well), I doubt they ever worked properly so fixing them might not be as trivial.

When did pointing out a broken mechanic become tears?

So presumably, the entire coalition will be tagged with multiple exploit flags and possibly even given short-time bans? Twisted

I'm pretty sure these people just automatically respond to any goons post with "OMGODZ, TEARZ!". I'm not convinced they can actually read.

This seems like a pretty big exploit tbh.

Strictly speaking, anyone caught utilising the exploit should, though I don't think anyone is aiming for that to happen. Closing the exploit before it gets overabused in N3s time of need would seem to be the goal here. You can be damn sure that if the roles were reversed people would be throwing fits about it.

Yes, yes… but think how fun it would be if they all got tempbanned for using exploits? The fits thrown to the tune of “devgewns banned opponents” would probably kick the Earth right out of orbit. Lol

When did pointing out a broken mechanic become tears?

"When is this going to be fixed?!"
"Enemy told his people to abuse this!!!!111111" (When he did not)
"Enemies are exploiting this!"(When everybody does this and everyone ever has been doing this and it realy can not be called an exploit anymore)
"It's a big problem for everyone in nullsec!"(When this is rarely an issue and there are several much more important things to be fixed)

The problem is well known to CCP and if it would be easy to fix it would have been fixed years ago.
Complaining that the enemy abuses it and that it needs to be fixed asap does not help in any way.
If you were not aware of this problem and thus were unprepared for it(hint: we faced the same problem in R3PO and did not complain) it is your fault.
Posting a thread complaining about the issue when it is already known and you can not contribute anything to solve it, is what I would call "tears".

Otherwise I agree that it should be fixed and I am confident in CCP that they will fix it when time and ressources are availiable.

So is this an admission? Since station services are clearly not supposed to work when destroyed, you are admitting here that you do know they work while destroyed, and continue to use them anyway.

As for everyone else using it, it's clearly not been used very publicly otherwise this thread would have come up before. If you knew that others used this knowingly before, then you should have reported that. As for "everyone else did it, so I did too!", didn;t your mum ever say to you "if your friends jumped off of a bridge, would you do it too?". You are responsible for your own actions and the consequences of same.

Infiltrator2112 wrote:

"Please don't fix it until we've finished abusing it". Seriously?

Infiltrator2112 wrote:

Not true. It's hardly a huge feature, so I very much doubt it would be tough to fix. Chances are the reason it's not fixed is people haven't been reporting it. Most inside a station would just assume that the services are still up, and most outside the station wouldn't know people were using them. Like most exploits, it's only when a group starts using it on a large scale that it gets noticed, reported and fixed.

Infiltrator2112 wrote:

Well I'd call that publicly reporting an exploit. I'd say it's more like tears when you come in defending your use of the exploit to stop you losing all your stuff because of absolutely horrendous decisions made by your leaders.

Glad we're on the same page. Tomorrow downtime would be sweet. Until then, a GM could manually disable services in the station to prevent the abuse of the exploit.

The enemy have been told to us the stations cloning services and to make jump clones in it. So yes, thay have been told to exploit this bug.
