I for one care less about WIS

Why would I want CCP to work on the limited confines of a space station when they could work on limitless space. Thousands of systems? Give us millions. Let us truly explore. Make the universe so big that no one can control it all.

Hopefully the next few expansions focus on expansion, not contraction.

I would go further than walking in stations and move onto walking in ships. It would be a cool thing to do, specially for role players. It would give a sense of perspective and size. Look out of the ships main deck into space would be very cool I think. As well as move around the ammo and fuel bays etc.

If you want WIS go play air rivals. It's a FTP game.

I can tell you first hand WIS is would be Sh!t. Eve is a space ship game first and foremost, leave it as is.

+1

Expansion means more space to explore and shoot at stuff in.

Contraction means Eve is pregnant and that's just weird.

Virtual space is not 'limitless'. A virtual space station has exactly the same capacity to be infinite as virtual space does. Also, if you did (by some giant stretch of the imagination) manage to make the universe infinite, no one would see each other. Because there are not infinite people to fill that space.

So you care about WIS, it's just that you care less?

Way to spell out the consensus, OP.

There hasn't been as much as a hint about furthering WIS since Incarna.

Whatever. Posting in pointless thread.

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

You realise if you got every EVE player and put them all in the fastest ship, in one system in EVE, equally spaced it would take years and years for anyone to find another even with duel mwd 50k mps.

That's how much space there is in one system. Not spaces fault CCP doesn't know how to utilize in game resources.

Except for that part where it was relayed that WiS was shelved, team Avatar doesn't exist any more and probably not going to be put back on life support any time soon,

Sigh...doesn't anyone realize that as a POD pilot that to control your ship you must be in the POD. How exactly do you expect to walk around the ship as it is in space?

No one reads about this game's foundations anymore do they?

I mean if you are truly a role player then this idea should make you ill.

On second thought, go ahead and walk around your ship; but, when you get blown up then it's game over for you. That character is well and truly dead forever. Dying shouldn't be too hard as you'll have almost no control over your ship or its systems without being in the freaking pod.

care less than what?
the title is meaningless without the value with which your caring is less then.
lets put caring on a scale from 0-100.
since you are caring less than a number on this scale we can rule out zero.
Or prehaps you used to care a lot and now care less.
Please clear up the confusion.

Great idea! Only....goons would never go for it.
It'd mean they'd have to actually be able to read a map.

He read it, and it was wrong to the point of stupid. Incarna only released one captains quarters type. The other three were released during Crucible. Also, the Avatar exploration prototype was created and talked about after Crucible. That's just to start.

dont ppl already complain about how much of null sec space is already empty, or more or less unused? in a way it seems counter productive adding hundreds or more new systems, if theres already plenty but are empty.

adding additional content which can be directly worked into industry and trading - such as the eva/implant stuff ccp once communicated about sounds way more interesting, and usefull as well as fun. As opposed to more empty 0.0 systems.

They definately wont be making high sec any bigger

What is not being seen is there will be limited paths to new space and those points will be controlled. Also the smaller guys won't be able to make the push because the larger groups will roll right on in with no effort.
