Well, the way I see it, the biggest, most powerful groups calling for the economic decimation of high sec are the cartels. They have the most to gain with high sec's destruction.

CCP may see "conflict as good", and the cartel's may echo that statement, but every new blue NIP and NAP entered into by the cartels demonstrates what they really want, which is the opposite of conflict. So while CCP should be fundamentally against the blue null sec blanket, they never seem to get around to attacking the game mechanics that support the pins that hold the blanket together.

As for BLOP's, yeah, I would like to see them capable of hugely disrupting the botting deep inside the blanket. But that is a small part of what CCP has to do to save the game from stagnation and an even worse NPE than we have today.

You'd be surprised but they probably also understand the most (outside of CCP) about the economic impact of said decimation.

The ones with the best view (CCP) do crazy things like the ESS, now why do you think they'd do that?

Using the ESS and Siphon as examples CCP are changing game mechanics in unusual ways. I like the content that the ESS has generated from the whine to the mechanics experimentation leading to a hotdrop with 19 carriers lost, small steps sometimes produce the best content.

I added a cyno alt recently and the NPE is improving. I don't think it will ever have all the experiences necessary but it was a step up from when I did it years ago!

That picture is wrong. I dream about Mittens every night of the week...not just on Sunday.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

I live in nullsec and have a pulse,

So why haven't I been set blue yet?

Protect me from knowing what I don't need to know. Protect me from even knowing that there are things to know that I don't know. Protect me from knowing that I decided not to know about the things that I decided not to know about. Amen.

Current nullsec is broken.
Many times people where saying this.
Like the drone assist and slow cats , and instead fixing the issue we get partial fix setting the limit to 50 drones.
Roaming will be super! - the group with most isthars/5 + recons + logi : win.

The only way to remove the blue donut is to limit player mobility.

I know we have jump skills, but for a player it is way to easy to move from one edge of eve universe to opposite one with ships he can use.

The fastest way is by carriers , and you can pack doctrine ships with you.

We have nonsense power projection for subcaps ( titans/jump bridges ) that allow small group of players to control a lot of space...

There is no way of solving current situation without fixing all those items.

Yes, I have zero doubt that the goons/cartels best understand the economic impact of hammering high sec. No one ever said goons were not brilliant at what they do. They just happen to be evil and ruthless as well.

As for the ESS, that has simply turned into a massive buff to null sec income. People just park the thing way offgrid deep in a crappy anom with an alt, and have a ridiculous lead times as to when someone may be coming into the system, and simply cash in when said neutral / bad person rolls into the anom. It is not a combat driver at all, but evolved within hours into a direct buff to null sec income, which CCP is clearly happy with, since they have not announced that is no longer anchorable within an anom, nor will they.

The perfect one must be parking the ESS inside the Maze escalation. Good luck finding the ESS quickly then.
