Didn't it use to have 5 launcher hardpoints?

When was it changed (I've been away from the game for a while) and whyShocked? Seems like a pointless change, especially
seeing as most other Minnie ships have been rebalanced in the opposite direction (i.e go t their laucnher slots increased at the expense of turrets).

I used to fit one against sansha / blood raiders in hi / low-sec exploration cause it was a decent way to counter their tracking disruption, but the DPS has fallen through the roof now. Can anyone suggest a fit that's actually good for *anything* right now?

HEC sub is classic Minmatar style: if you want to get everything out of it, you've got to use missiles, projectiles and drones. Missiles alone aren't going to get you the dps you're after (though in some configurations you can still get four launchers, not sure if there's a way to get five). I actually think HEC is the highest dps sub the Loki has if you've got the skills for it.

EDIT: although I like the sub and split weapon systems, I wouldn't use it for PvE. Would be a pain in the ass trying to get all three systems to apply dps (especially drones).

OK My bad I remembered it wrong.

I actually used to use 4 not 5 launchers in that setup. The reason I got confused is I used a different subsystem configuration in EFT prior to posting, one which only allows 3 launchers / turrets (the additional slot depends on the engineering subsystem).

Perhaps if/when the T3 rebalance happens it will actuallly get 5 or 6 launcher slots.

I have seen people use it to run with rr tengus cause they had loki trained and not tengus.........
