Low Sec Pilot - plex warfare for FW and small group PvP. I was revisiting this ship after the rebalance and quickly came to the conclusion that the X-Large ASB was a monster to fit. You gave up the medium neut, were forced to use the smallest tier guns, and still needed 2-3 fitting mods/ rigs. The following fit is more to my liking:

High:
220mm II x 5
Medium Unstable Neut

Mid:
10MN Experimental MWD
LASB x 2
Warp Disruptor II

Low:
Gyro II x 3
Nano II
IFFA

Rigs:
Auxilliary Thrusters x 2

It reps about 894 DPS. Total shields repped is 25% less then what a X-LASB would provide, but the ship gains in DPS, utility, and speed as well. The above fit only had half a CPu to spare in terms of grid. Is it feasible?

- you get more projected dps (@20km) from 2 gyro and a TE than 3 gyro
- ideally you'll want 425 instead of 220 to increase projected dps (can make it fit with a 3% PG implant) and then use small neut instead, 220 + med neut is fine though
- I'm not a fan of poly rigs and personally when using ASB I like to use resist rigs, in this case kin/therm

Choosing 1 or 2 ASB depends on many factors, 2 certainly makes sense.

I'd use 2x Gyro, 1x TE on lows and LASB + LSE on mids, which allows you to fit a T2 DC and have some buffer.

EVE is what happens when the rule of law does not apply and Darwinism is allowed to run freely.

I really like a single XLASB on the vaga, since it gives you the opportunity to augment your kiting with a defensive web. You don't want to get scrammed in a ship like this, and a web helps you more with that than a med neut imo. ymmv though.

It thought this fit was what most people used. Good mix of projection, speed, and utility with that med nuet, enough ehp to survive alpha and enough tank with that bonus to not just melt. It is a vaga, don't get caught. You get scrammed you die.

That said I'd think the xl-asb brawler fit would be better in lowsec. Just kinda seems to make sense.

Thank you all. Some food for thought. I wanted to make sure that the LASB wasn't a never-used module that I would be foolish to put on a ship. I got my answer.
