Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is with great honor, that I announce The Knights Of Polaris is now a loyal member corp of The Militia of the Gallente Federation.
Although I am choosing to join this war several years into its hostilities, my service to the Federation is something I have owed since my days predating this conflict at The Federal Naval Academy.

At this time, as a one man corp, I fully realize that I bring only myself to the fight. This fight however, must be about defending the very ideals of Freedom which we hold dear. The very things which both the Caldari State and the Amarr Empire are the antithesis of.

Recruitment is open to all loyal citizens of the Gallente Federation. An official recruitment drive will begin soon.

As of this time I seek a Forward Operating Base for staging operations into the war zone, as well as allied pilots, corporations, and alliances.

The time is now to push back the Caldarian aggressors.

FOR THE FEDERATION !!!

Care to elaborate? I would argue the concept of freedom is what drove our two peoples into opposite directions to begin with.

Never has one whelp's cry for personal enrichment and entitlement been tarted up so much as some sort of honour he does to the cluster.

I'm not sure what sort of burning need you think you're fulfilling for the Federation. Most studies suggest that the CEWMPA war is in a holding pattern, right now, especially between the Federation and the State. Locked into an impasse over territory that sees system ebb and flow from one to the other, lacking any sort of central ideological assertion, now that the matter of Home has been resolved.

And to have this followed by an immediate cry for allies, pilots, ships and intelligence? Classy.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Luminaire has been rid of Caldari military presence and most of our core systems in lowsec are secured.

Sorry bud, we're the agressors now.

My goodness, you've become quite jaded and cynical Pilot Tuulinen. Compared to some of the grandiose pronouncements made by new pilots I didn't find this one particularly bad.

It would seem that the Black Eagles' program of re-programing the populace to serve their own goals has been working. Pity.

I don't know. Stuff like this used to swell my heart when I started out and now it just makes me bad tempered.

It is apparent from the comments here, that the majority of those who choose to remark on the Intergalactic Summit, hold reservations against the Federation, and do not take kindly to Gallente loyalists. Of course judging from several historical threads I have reviewed I can rightly judge that this is a recurring trend.

However, know this. While I cannot speak for every member of the Federation or the mixed bag of loyalists and mercenaries which make up the FDU. I will not be dissuaded from my service by the spiteful drivel set forth by those who would no sooner see more worlds fall under the boot of total state controlled mindless slavery.

And for those who believe I am a mere upstart young pilot. Perhaps my clone is young. My time though predates many here as well as this conflict.

Compared to historical norms, the current state of hostility, here, is remarkably even. That, of course, represents a stunning victory for the cool kids and their enslaved household staff.

What's that, dear?

If I've told you once I've told you a thousand times, I don't care where the little pinky knives go, nobody ever uses them. Why don't you give them to the kids out back, and they can, you know, save them up and start a revolution, or something?

Best of luck, sir.

Do mind that others are as quick to cite your mass-media culture as "mindless slavery" as you are quick to cite our own. until you see another option, best of luck in the competition. You will need it.

What you believe is hostility because you view yourself as a, "Gallente loyalist" is nothing more than a reaction at your ignorant propaganda and the fact that you're a bore.

I personally meant no spite to you pilot, I had merely hoped to gleam a bit of understanding out of your accusations.

Im all for eager young folk enlisting to serve our great nation, however if anyone honestly believes that this war is still about about defending our turff, then they are gravely mistaken.

Not saying attacking enemy combatants is bad, just saying that you should at least be honest about it. One thing I've always admired about our adversaries is that they make it very clear they are out to kill you. With the my felliw Gaenteans and occassionally our Minmatar allies, we love to sugar coat it.

The Federal Defense Union is only defensive by name.
