Looking for some already-existing, in-game corporations for RP details

My RP Profile has a few small gaps in it that I need to fill out, mainly some names of corporations and individuals. Before I just start inventing things, I'm asking around if there's any such entities that may already exist.

The first one is what different Entertainment companies that exist in the EVE Universe. Anys is a fashion model and actress from Chandeille, but I've not seen anything that specific that would fit her.

The second one is a news organization other than The Scope. Although The Scope would work, it focuses less on "tabloid" type of stories and instead favors "harder" news - in essence, it's more like CNN than an Enquirer magazine.

There were one or two other things I needed, but I'm drawing a blank on what they are. I'll re-edit my OP later when I remember them (I'm at my shop currently)

If you are looking for tabloid journalism, look no further than Gutter Press.

On a side note from reading your profile, you shouldn't mention ancient Earth terms. Earth is more myth than reality to most inhabitants of new Eden. This is actually somewhat demonstrated in game by the description of the Wolf assault Frigate "Named for a mythical beast. . ."

Well for entertainment you can look at Impetus, they are in the movie/holoreel business. They've also developed instant news arrays to revolutionize the way news is being transmitted. You have Egonics Inc. , music industry. Both Gallente corps.

For Caldari you have Echelon Entertainment and Nugoeihuvi Corporation, with Echelon also broadcasting news.

For the Amarr, Amarr Certified News for news organisation, don't think they have any corporations dedicated to entertainment.

And lastly the Minmatar have The Leisure Group.

I think that covers them all, though I'm sure someone will add any I may have missed.

I see your point, my version is a little too... clinical isn't it? It shouldn't be too difficult to rephrase that a little bit to carry the same mystique as the Wolf's description.


@Tykari: Thanks for the other news outlets. I've not heard of Gutter Press - I might talk to them sometime about my friend's and my silly little RP story sometime.

As the the other, corporations, I should have remembered Impetus, I've read about them in the past. Although Anys probably isn't big enough to work directly for them yet, I can imagine she works with a smaller subsidiary belonging to them.

The other ones are interesting as well, and hadn't even seen those (or had forgotten about them). The Minmatar one sounds especially ominous, that could give for some interesting ideas down the road :)

You could say a ronin is a mythological entity.

As for Gutter Press, that's a roleplaying group. They occasionally post fictional news stories in IGS.
As I said, real tabloid journalism.

The Stuff Tykari mentioned are all groups in the official backstory. I don't think he missed anyone, but then I know more about the engineering/research corporations in EvE
