You see a writhing mass of worms on the ground. It's really sticy and gooey.

Why hasn't CCP incorporated more worms, and worm-like designs, and names of ships that reference worms and wormy things?

D. Claim intellectual property rights for the pile of worms and try to slip notices into the back pockets of people who walk through the rising mass that by getting the worms on their shoes they consent to give any rights they might have over their shoe gunk to me.

Have you ever seen/read Dune and what worms start to resemble after they start getting overly large in size? Or do you want a bunch of space-peens floating around Jita?

Worms by themselves are mildly gross. What is really gross are tapeworms. I don't know if the treatments are still the same as they used to be before modern medicine...

But in the old days the treatment was to starve yourself and then set a plate of food nearby. The tapeworms would find any exit they could such as out your mouth and rear end.

Try not to think about it.

Sorry, but that's a silly urban legend.

A common misconception about tape worms is that placing food near your open mouth will tempt it to crawl out. This is not possible because tapeworms are parasites which do not have any senses, and therefore cannot ‘know’ that there is food nearby. Furthermore, the tapeworm resides in the intestines, with no way of accessing your esophagus or your mouth. The head of a tapeworm is not what most people would imagine. Tapeworms do not have mouths or tongues; but rather a head called a scolex, which has suckers or hooks on it, allowing for attachment to the wall of the intestine.

Science for the win. Tapeworms are very very simple organisms and not able to "exit" a host to seek other forms of food.
