As a frequent user of the character bazaar I appreciate the service and anybody that thinks they could ever get away with scamming chars is dumb and shouldnt even try.

Very good. The original thread is of-course on EVE-Search as well. I'm surprised at the cost of that character though. 12m skill points for 2.5 billion? It makes me tempted to sell my 35m Caldari or my 30m Minmatar ...

Anyway, very glad you got it sorted. That's the one area (Apart from rookie systems?) that I'm aware of where CCP will smack down any scamming and hard. And good on them for doing that as well.

You want to sell your 30m+ SP chars after seeing that someone got 2.5b for 12m SP? First, that's pretty low. Appraising characters is tricky business, but generally, dividing the SP by 3 will give you something to start with. Barring an awful name or awful SP allocation, a 12 SP char should generally be able to fetch 4b or so. If it's an especially desirable name and/or skillsheet, then a 2.5 ratio is quite common. The ratio can be 1m:1b for cap sitters with no wasted SP and a bunch of expensive skills injected.

Locked. Scams involving character sales are absolutely prohibited and serious offenses, and are thus to be dealt with through private support channels, not the forums. I am forwarding this to CCP, and I suggest you also file a support ticket about it: http://community.eveonline.com/support/support-tickets/
