T2 hybrid burst aerators

I was looking for tips and info on fitting a Kronos, and I saw these being suggested a lot. I always had my doubts about them, partly because I figured they were subject to stacking penalty (and thus with the 3-4 magstabs I usually fit) and also because every time I slapped one on in EFT (using T1 since I don't have hybrid rigging 4) the effect was always a measly 10ish dps.

Yesterday I went ahead and plugged in a T2 one, and lo and behold, 60+ dps increase. Looking at the stats of the rigs themselves, T1 are 10% increase, T2 are 15%. Looking at the eft numbers, you'd think it was T1 10% and T2 50% or something.

What am I missing here. How is there such a huge difference between the 2? Are there other modules/rigs like this that produce crappy results using T1 but very good results using T2?

Stacking penalties. The T2 provides a larger bonus than a magstab and so it comes first in the stack. The T1 doesn't so it comes last.
