Hi All,

I just resubbed after an absence for a good few months and was looking to get into incursions. This alt is purely PVE and caldari x trained with Amarr. I know nightmares are possibly the way to go but I wanted to keep my inital isk investment down. I understand that whilst it is possible to use my Golem / Tengu, turret ships are preferred.

So I found the following fits for ANI and an abaddon:

Quote:
[Armageddon Navy Issue, Armageddon Navy Issue DPS]
Capacitor Power Relay II
Capacitor Power Relay II
Heat Sink II

Damage Control II

DPS / Survivabilty appears to be similar, I am a little cap sensitive in the abbadon, my question is, which fit is most likely to get me into a fleet?

ANI, it gives you a utility high slot that will let you cap chain to another dps ship like my navy mega and the guns can keep going and you recharge your cap on higher sites.

You'll have a hard time getting into a fleet with a T1 amarr ship, as a guess. I've seen some folks get in with Rokhs.

Well I can pilot a Paladin, couldnt find any setups for it. Also adding another 0.5B onto the cost to try something out I dont know if I will like.

Hmmm

Abaddon is fine for Vangards from the DPS output, but the cap becomes a problem in the bigger sites with MWD. A navy Armageddon would be the better choice all around if you got good sentry skills and use static gangs(like most VG shield fleets are).

As for the Paladin it is good for Assaults and HQs if you fly armor(else the NM is preferred by the added utility), not so much for Vanguards after the Web nerf.

If you already considering to invest a bit more ISK, the Nightmare(requires caldari BS) would be the ship of choice with the Amarr skill set, since it is the most often requested laser platform for shield fleets.

This would be the gist of the fitting what most channels fly, 2. Invu and DCU can be removed for VGs depending on boosts and if you invest in a pith Invu. You shouldn't have issues getting in the fleets of the big HQ channels with it(you need to add a mwd for that), if you pimp it a bit it would also do good in VG style contest fleets.

a decent NM shield fit ur aiming at 2.5-3 bil fit with another 3-4 bil for implants (geno set)

u also need tight or maxed out cap skills to fly it in HQ for instance TPPH timing ur mwd is prio here
a bhaalgorn is nice aswell good support ship i flew that ship alot when in armor fleets aswell as the legion

so both the bhaalgorn and the legion can be cap stable
