Socket Closing on one character

Solution may help you:

Open command prompt (type cmd in search bar win 7 etc).
type ipconfig /release
press enter
type ipconfig /flushdns
press enter
type ipconfig /renew
press enter

I have been getting socket closes for one character when clicking on the portrait to log in and had to log a different character first to be able to get into game. When logging in a different character didn't work, I did the command lines above and it fixed it. I hope it helps others.
