Hi,

I've logged into both the IGB and desktop via chrome, but the app is saying i'm in jita on both. I've no option to select my current system.

Any ideas what i'm doing wrong ?

Likely an issue with IGB trust - check your IGB settings.

- Is it possible to remove the snap-in feature of the windows when you are changing the layout?

Question. Sometimes we try to rename a system, and it doesn't rename properly - it doesn't change the name of the system and instead renames the return sig to what we tried to rename the system to. What are we doing wrong?

No it works perfectly fine in chrome desktop, or I'd have a ton of info for you :)

IGB is the only place I'm having problems. I've tried the insecure=true flag as well as your test environment (galileo). If there was a way to use http (not https) or a flag that would enable debug output on the page I could send you the responses i'm seeing from the IGB xhrs.

It's very non-deterministic -- sometimes i get 0 problems for a while other times i get the red error box after every single action and it's unusable.

I also never see any sort of reconnect box, and the UI breaks (nothing is being populated in the lists) after I get the error, a refresh (may) get it working again.


I am having the same issues, and frequently enough that tripwire has become nearly unusable. I'm having sync errors both with the in game browser, as well as out of game (Mac client, using safari out of game) The problems appeared some time after New Years.

Any tips to help with the bug hunt?

I think we had solved those old issues. Some of it was because I was using 4096 bit SSL certificates which seems sometimes the IGB can't do a proper handshake fast enough before it times out and get an SSL error. I have switched to using the standard 2048 bit.

The biggest issues others have is when they have their WAN IP address change, if your WAN IP changes while your logged into Tripwire it kicks you out silently and you would just start getting sync errors messages.

I am actually using Safari on my Macbook Pro while I type this and not having any issues.

Let me know if its still giving you trouble - I will never stop trying to fix issues like this.

Yes, it's still going on. As far as I can tell, my WAN IP is not changing.

Sometimes the sync error is immediate upon opening the browser to tripwire, sometimes it takes about 10 minutes before tripwire breaks down. I think if it's an IP changing thing, my IP would have to be changing rather often.

One of my corpmates has the same issue, I don't know his connection details though.

Today I had two signatures with identical text part of the id. It confused Tripwire badly.

System had a data site with id KYZ-260. Then static wormhole crashed and new static spawned with id KYZ-734. Tripwire failed silently when I tried to copy-paste the freshly spawned id of the new static wh. I know this case is really rare, but I wonder if TW could handle site situation more gracefully.

Question on Favorites...

For 'Add favorite systems to chain';

As far as I can tell, the quote it gives you for # of jumps to your favorites is using the 'Prefer Shorter' route as the measure... is there a way to change that to 'Prefer Safer'? so that you know how far it is to each Favorite while staying in High Sec?

I see today's dev post about ending the IGB by October 2016. Will tripwire be able to be used without being logged into the IGB?
