is that a cellphone in your pocket or you just happy to see me? or maybe have a benign rectangular growth?

you know, for all the fuss i made (in good fun) about the skinny jeans i actually don't like the look on most guys. but you are correctly proportioned for them. they don't look half bad at all! lol

well... looking at myself in that picture i think 'wow what a piece of ****' but then it all makes sense. I don't think you're supposed to have the right legs for them, and the appeal is looking like someone a girl can feel comfortable around.

by the way, that is not my cel phone, that is two credit cards and my driver's license. no way there's room for a phone. the cut of these pants are amazing, cuz it feels like i'm wearing spandex yet i can walk

heh. "luck"

while working on some electronics i've had time to think about the questions and online dating and speed dating... those environments are 'paper dating' oriented, where you have too much time and reason to think about the nitty gritty that can only get in the way. it's bad and it's encouraged. unless you look really great on paper... pre-med, parents own half of intel corp stock, you go yachting and play horse polo... just stay away.

in physical matters, you're not supposed to think with your head.

those questions about background and income and education... in terms of how well a date would go, they're meaningless. like, you're just trying to score a goal, not prove that you can manage the soccer team. for any length of time.

"are your parents still together?"
"none of your business. I suppose you want to see my 401(k) and my credit report?"

that's ******* funny because the answer is yes. but if they care about those things at all just walk away. they're not fun anyway. personally all i care about is whether someone appears to have their bills paid, on their own or by someone else.

as I think about it, I enjoy this piece-of-**** costume more and more. (talking about the skinny jeans)

just... totally downgrade online dating and speed dating to junkbond status. even if there are some cool ones who are worth meeting, they're still mistaken for being on a site like that. you'd want to meet them in person anyway. it's just wrong either way. especially if the site is marketed with success stories of people who got married or something. and the opposite will never be true: you won't find a site that touts how many hookups you can have in a week, even though that's what people would really be after.

all that personality info. ..man, it's just better to not know some things. a rain dating site would be like,
"did you wear clothes today?"
"are you interested in not wearing clothes later?"
"with this person?"
"you're in luck, they said the same thing about you. here's their info"

people who don't answer yes for one week straight get dropped

I could totally program a site like that.

it's something very important that a lot of people don't realize they have a preference for.

your influences aren't right or wrong, they just are what they are, and based on the large number of people in either group I think it's ok to be in either one.

I <3 u too eevee. how do you like my skinny jeans

I get asked that by women around my own age, who want to settle down, and they don't know how to respond to it very well, they kinda go quite for a few seconds, and I get some rapid eye movement(towards the logical side of the brain). I found out yesterday, that when you apply for your fire arms license here, they check to see if your from a single parent family or not when they do a background check on you.

"11 men to date before settling down"

this is the type of thing they read

i think what's important about this article is understanding that archetypes exist, and paying attention to which you resemble most will keep you from sending mixed signals. http://www.soulcraft.co/essays/the_12_common_archetypes.html skip to the bottom, there's a wheel diagram that makes the rest easier to grasp.

btw the way to interpret/utilize that wheel diagram is simple: opposites attract

and the moral of that article is, even if you're not opposites, why not try it out anyway

I tell you what. The dating scene in Richmond, Va sucks as well. Especially for a 37 year old single dad, of an awesome 2 year old daughter, who has one of the most FUBARed schedules known to man.

Good luck brother! We need it.

reminder: according to my roomie's girlfriend, the key to wearing skinny jeans is totally not giving a ****

I'm not sure what your age is but a lot of women are used being the center of male attention while growing up (ie. 15-25). Once they get older, people start looking them over for younger ones and they get kinda... desperate to be picked I guess. It's especially prevalent in the mid and below income brackets for some reason Roll

I don't know, my parents are still together, but I don't view most women as girlfriend material. Mechanically speaking, if they're in the area, I'm a straight male so you know. But then they start having funny ideas.

Depends on the kind of girl really.

Some will read articles like that and take them 100% seriously, others will read it and laugh and have something to tell their friends next time they meet, and some will read over it, try to (and sometimes succeed) to find useful information from them.

But in general, articles like that are a bunch of.. hrm naughty word CCP would not approve off.

At least that seems to be the case in Norway.. Here is a list over articles that covers many of the things that girls worry about (well worry about after they read the article at least).

1. How to avoid making your stomach swell up due to air.
2. What kind of clothes you should wear for the spring.
3. 12 hair styles you just have to try.
4. "My friends thought my eye lashes were fake!" (basically new and wonderful product for your eyelashes)
5. More tips for what to wear for spring.
6. New study shows that men wants to have..cuddle time with lights turned off due to self esteem issues.
7. "I lost 18 kg's with this awesome diet! Now i allow my self "eating days" to be able to stand it". (im impressed there is only one of these today).
8. Things women misunderstand with... Well..movies that help compensate when your better half is out of town for a while Lol

Anyway the point is that you will find a lot of articles like that because they are aimed to hit peoples insecurities, and while these insecurities might have been small and they just clicked the link because they were curious, the way they are written are often aimed to make you feel even worse about your self, thus try to follow the "advice" given.

Basically, most of the time its not how we think/feel, or something we really want to do, but when you constantly get bombarded with things like this, you eventually start thinking that its something wrong with you for not thinking like that (until someone gives you a slap in the back of your head and makes you snap out of it Lol ).

And again, i really have to stop using the EVE forums as an excuse to stay awake until after midnight Smile

Hope the post helps answer your question to some extent, sorry i will admit im a bit tired.
