It's an estimation. To improve accuracy, you really need Planetology V and Advanced Planetology IV.

^^This.

The extraction rate shown is the optimal extraction rate, not the operational extraction rate. The higher your Planetology and Adv Planetology skills the more optimal you will extract.

Hey dude - Whats with those two massive links between your stuff????

That set up will never make decent isk. You have wasted all the CPU on links that could be extra extractor heads.

As the pics you linked are not showing the entire set up I cant tell but Ill say this incase:
The Command Centre DOES NOT have to be connected to anything. It just has to be on the planet somewhere.

If you are just extracting and exporting as it seems from the minimal setup shown - You need one extractor and a launchpad so close to it you should barely even be able to see the link you join them with.
So one very very short link.

I can tell your setup has 'issues' - but I cant help resolve them all without a full picture of the setup.

Wow ! I finally looked.

Those are indeed huge links. You want to keep those as short as you possibly can.

I have a question for you, are you extracting more than one resource per planet?

Huge links mostly work better for me to extract more, with less extractionpoints. Since mineralpoints move i need to move/rebuild the extractors and sometimes the links are long. Sure i like to keep`m as short as possible but like i said sometimes you make more with 3 extractorpoints and a long link instat of a short one and 10 extractorpoints.

Sure you can extract more then 1 ressource

In my experience, you get better extraction with only one resource per planet, and then take the 2 resources from 2 planets to a factory planet.

Agreed. Extract P0, convert to P1 then pull off to factory planet. The loss from the infrastructure needed to combine the 2 P1 into P2 is greater than the loss moving to another planet.
