If you open the Star Map and in the Map Control Panel -> Stars tab select Sovereignty (Factional Warfare) -> Factional Warfare and then select one of the militias. The Map represents each system involved in Factional Warfare with a dot of a different size.

But what do the different sized dots actually represent? It doesn't seem to correlate to the contested state, kills, cynos, sys upgrade level or anything else displayed on the Sovereignty Dashboard.

I'm sure this is really obvious, but I'm missing it.

Also is there no way in the Map to display the system upgrade level of all the systems or do you have to click on each system or constellation to see it?

The in game map looks pretty but isn't so useful.

Just use DOTLAN http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map

it is related to contested level but it does not represent actual % value, it represents contested amount related to other contested systems => most contested is big ball, rest are related to that.

I don't see any way to display the system upgrade status in DotLan. Where is it please?

Thought DOTLAN showed upgrade level same as it does sov level. My bad.
