So after this morning's patch, I've got a number of issues which are not working properly. I'll start where this thing kicked off I guess.

I logged in after server reset, and noticed that on my character screen, most of the images were not loading. As in, I could see a bit of information on my character, but not really anything, just a bit of text, and the red box surrounding the character. Other character panels were not visible (sometimes with mouseover you can see a flash) And when mousing over my character, I got flashes of images, sometimes my ship, sometimes my pod. I can click on my character and log in.

However, upon logging in, I see three of the buttons on my letft-side bar following my mouse up and down as if I were trying to drag and drop them. Other buttons move around these floating buttons. When I click anywhere on the bar, it still clicks the button which is supposed to be there though. However, almost invariably, clicking anything freezes the client up. I have to also add that I get a lot of random images flickering on the screen during this time.

Ran repair tool, got a permission denied error. I think it's detecting errors, but it just can't do anything about it. The client checker in the launcher does not find errors, however. I've rebooted, tried repair tool multiple times, and done as much as I know how to do with this, without any results. Some system information:

intel i3 3.2gHz processor

Radeon Sapphire 6750 graphics card, 1gb ram.

14gb system ram.

Ubuntu linux 12.04

I've had no problems with the game itself in quite some time, but since this patch it's unplayable.

Same here. What?
But after patch my eve client use "skill book" icon instead of aura to indicate speed. Lol

I too am getting that random junk when I'm undocked. I even had one image ( I think it was email) that was rotating over the dscan instead of the thing which is supposed to rotate over dscan. Luckily I'm dual booted so I'm just playing on Win atm. I'm using the exact same client, it's installed on a shared partition, which is formatted in ntfs. The install itself is completely solid and working just fine on windows, it's only on linux that these problems occur.

Wine version 1.6.1. New fglrx did nothing for the situation.

Also have to note that since there is a permissions issue, wine seems to be involved in the problem. My suspicion is that wine is incompatible with some of the newer programming, but that's a guess from somebody who codes in languages other than C/C++.

This will hopefully be fixed in tomorrow's patch.

that's what you said about this patch :P

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats
