This is my fit for my SNI for fool around L4 mission.
in this case, it is mission specific hardener against Guristas which is common to me.

It tank about 1,221 with Level 5 Skills Char for nearly 4 min (3 min and 51 sec)

for empty mid slot, I yet to decide what to do with it, Can be MJD, AB, or something else. I am still not sure.

For Salvager on high slot, I use MTU to pull wreck then salvage it. While not fast as Destroyer with 4-4 salvager/tractor, it will add extra isk without add additional time on your mission.

B/w you can always use T2 XL SB and put Cap booster in empty med slot. I use Gist because it is pretty effective for HP per cap cost.

I understand from this you're tactic is to keep jumping out of the rats range, which is a solid tactic, thouhg it will use up quite some time, nothing wrong with that especialy with low skills, I was more thinking in the line of the MJD being a last resort.


What I meant is that the CNR bonuses shine more with T2 ammo, fury's in particulair, but you'll probbably going to get trouble fitting it all.

this is what I use now and then, mind I've max all missile support skills and almost all fitting skills

Not a troll. I always fit an expanded launcher to all my Battleships. If I didn't have the CPU, I would just off-line it till needed.

Why? Well sometimes you want to run a L4. Other times you want to invade someone else's L4 and ruin their day. Hence the expanded launcher and the ECM drones.

I may not make the maxed isk per second that some mission grinders shoot for, but I have the creativity to make my mission days funPirate

That fit is ******* awful TBH. Also, I really don't understand why people get such a hard on for MJD - they suck balls IMHO. Just fit an AB for travel to gates and man up.

The following fit is all T1/T2, costs around 800 Mil fully fitted and does 1110 DPS. If you want to faction the BCUs it'll do more. Faction the Omni and the Gardes/Bouncers/Wardens will apply the DPS better.

He's a low skill pilot so I don't think he has skill for T2 launchers or T2 sentry drones,

Of course he could go with the same setup T1 and still get 755 DPS.... but since the drone bay is full of sentry drones he has no light drones... You might get away without light drones if you have precision missiles and target painters but for the OP I wouldn't recommend it with his skills.

He can swap the T2 Sentries for T1 Sentries if he wishes to use Sentries and hasn't the T2 skills. Otherwise he can use a flight of Hobs, or a mixture of T1 Heavies, T1 Mediums and a T1 Scout.

Looks good. I would get T2 drones soon... If you mess up the jump the reactivation delay is a few minutes. I've had missions put out higher than normal DPS where I had to get out and T2 Hobgoblins saved my bacon.

The fit looks good but I don't think he has the skills to "man up" LOL... I used to tell pilots not to fly a BS till they get proper skills but they're going to do it anyways so I try to steer them in the right direction. Hopefully they're smart enough to insure their ships Big smile

People like MJD's for two reasons. The first is they allow you to minimize incoming damage by keeping range and the second is you can get out even while scrammed.... This is if you're MJD cooldown has finished of course.

I'll agree MJD's on a T1 battleship are kind of annoying because of the reactivation delay. I've had to wait at a mission gate with my MJD Dominix because I didn't want to go in taking aggro while waiting on the cooldown.
