Did so using the following thread:

How is this for forum posting getting real?

This announcement is by order of my employer. A close friend of the mark who loves the tit for tat.

About to sell a series of three conversations I was acting on behalf of an anonymous seller. As per the sellers instructions I was to take the two billion the buyer eventually offered for the first conversation and then inform him that the seller really did require the last billion (making it three before he would reveal his identity via the chat) before allowing me to hand over the tears in question.

Am I at fault for adhering to my client's wishes (him being the seller) and thus decieving the buyer?

As of this writing buyer left convo in a huff promising retribution.

So, in short, seller wanted 3-1-1-1 billion for a set of three conversations detailing tears, buyer offered 2-2-2. I was instructed to take the 2 and ask for additional 1 before revealing seller's identity by finalising sale of first convo. Listened to seller.

Edit: I have scammed a well know forum troll as per order by someone whom instructed me to say "You fly with me, you think you know me, but this is how I like to see the world burn". In short, a freind in the same corporate entity asking me to take action on his behalf. Friend betraying friend in true Machiavellian fashion...because he can.

I was ordered to deal the most damage I could to the forum persona of this toon. As part of this I am offering 20 million isk (also known as 1 % of the scammed amount) to the first person to properly guestimate the identity of the scammed forum persona. This is purely to show you all where the vulnerabilities of public actions might quite unexpectedly take you.

This was a Kaver Special Project ©
Also, blocking me has concequences, my dear [insert toon name after it has been guestimated]

Your mistake was not using an alt. Not sure why you should fear retribution, pocket the isk and move on.

Never use alts, never needed to. Seller is primairy employer (paid me for making the offer, so I had no stake in actually selling). that values giving away his name at three billion.

Donno if I should fear retribution, the offer was sound and above board. I can't really help the buyer wanting to change the conditions.

Was offered ten billion for sellers name, but I can't take that deal since I would then betray my employer. Also, kinda weird to offer ten billion for something already priced at three and almost paid for.

Thread is moot without divulging suggested tears, 3 billion isk for tears?! Take isk, post tears, create epic thread Twisted

Tears are valued at 6 billion, seller wants a further 1 billion to disclose the first chatlog, to be paid by the interested party that agreed with the 6 billion valuation of said tears.

Please don't insult me by goading with an alt to skimp on the additional 1 billion required to unlock the first chatlog.

Furthermore, the threat was not well recieved. Any further threats to my person will inflate the price (you know who you are).

Let me get this straight, you can now use a victim's tears chatlog (a victim who you've just popped and/or ransomed) to extort MORE ISK from them.

I am in awe. Well done.

As am I, but not sure if it is for the seller pulling it off or the shere stupidity of they buyer. Make me wonder if I should not just credit some forged logs and start holding vain players ransom.

Only the middleman, I can not take credit for the creativity of my employer.

The seller is offering the victim's tears to the cause of the tears. Tears were shed in a private setting (so no local tears, but genuine behind closed doors tears). Additionaly the seller is also selling the added betrail of selling the log of a hurtfull moment shared in confidence with the one that ordered the hurt being done.

Offer hasn't changed, seller is adement about recieving the full three billion before disclosing his identity. My representation of the offer however, did, as per the seller's request. Hence my confusion to the point of asking C & P for a tuning of my moral compass.

Okay, I'm lost on this one. Buyer gave you 2 bil isk for chat logs which would contain the sellers name. You (as the seller requested) then asked for 1 bil isk more from buyer for the chat logs. The buyer refused, then proceeded to offer 10 bil isk for the seller's name. Is that right?

The solution is simple, he offered more than the worth of all three chat logs. Take the guy's money, hand him the name and chat logs, then transfer the agreed payment to the seller and pocket the excess. Heck, you can even tell the seller what you did. I wouldn't begrudge you the extra if I were the seller.

Also if you are operating as a middleman why didn't you give the isk back? Because you are a spineless coward (in game) that needs to ask forum morons for absolution.

About humiliation. Edited the first post to reflect that.

On a side note, I have petitioned on wether or not selling chatlogs (real or doctored) would be allowed, haven't had a straight answer, so untill some GM has the balls to give a straight answer I would chalk it up to the grey area.

Fortunately, just scamming is allowed in this amazing sandbox.

Okay, I give up. The forum troll in question was me. OP scammed me of my ISK, honor, and reputation. He also made me cry and will soon publish the logs. Only shame I have left.

...NO! Wait! I was wrong. It couldn't have been me, as I'm neither well known nor a forum troll. Nor scammed by OP.

Move on, nothing to see here.
