Okay okay, I know I post a lot but I love genrating discussions and well I've found actual player interaction to be much more useful than any guides thus far!

Well I've almost finished the tutorials now (just coming to the end of the advanced military tutorial.... my last one) and well I'm still none the wiser as to where to head next! I've investigated many different routes, Factional Warfare, pvp corps such as the brave newbies or maybe eve just continuing on with missioning into the sisters of EVE and well I just can't decide what to do there just way too much choice!

To make matters worse I started reading up on ship fittings and well the complexity of this aspect of the game simply made my head spin, is it this complicated for everyone? Can it be learnd. I'm starting to feel kinda' overwhelmed by EVE and its a little scary. Am I making the game to hard on myself by looking in to too much?

Is there an easier direction or am I looking at the game wrong? I'm enjoying the game at the moment but I feel like I'm ready for a change.

On I final note I really would like to stick around because the game is just so damned impressive and my 21 day trial account is fast coming to a close. So where's the best place to pick up my first plex.

Once more thanks for any hell you guys can offer up!
Cheers

Jump on to the Eve University wiki and start reading. Interaction is great, but you'll never be sure what's missed. Lots of people have little axes to grind (like somehow not listing eve university as a good starting player corp).

There are really only a couple of initial decisions to make.
Do you want to fight other players, yes or no?

If the answer is no, your options are all in hisec (for now). Do you want active or passive play? (missions/pve vs. mining/production/trading). Either way that wiki will provide you everything you need to know.

If you answered yes to PvP, stop what you're doing and join one of the corps listed in this thread. Those corps have been around long enough to have a good knowledge base, good resources for noobs, and a willingness to teach and instruct. Other corps might do that, or they might just be a collection of other noobs. Those noob corporations are the ones that provide tasty tears when their flawed perceptions of EVE come back to bite them on the ass. EVE is not a good game for the blind leading the blind.
