I asked a similar question a while ago, but that thread is dead and can't be necroed, so... When my corp first got to wormholes when they came out, we had a recruit who would run the c5's in a carrier (this was before people did full escalations) anyway, my question this time is... can a single carrier, solo, easily survive the first wave of a cap escalation and can hit clear the 6 bs' in a reasonable amount of time? Note this is solo, I want to try and gain some iskies then attempt a full escalation again. It looked earilyer like it would take an hour to do... that's a bit long, but if I can net 250m+ then its actually shorter then raiding a c3. So just curious if it can be done, and how long ti takes to clear the bs' and most if not all the first wave

It can tank it yes, it can't kill the sleepers in anything resembling acceptable time though.

There is no Bob.

Why are you in a C5 corp that only fields one carrier in a class 5 anomaly? You will make way more money in way less time with a crew of bros doing a full escalation, and you will be way more safe.

If you are curious, we are recruiting, so join The End-of-Line Club in game channel if you have questions.

If your using the right fighters and have the right fit and skills... it takes ~240 seconds per sleepless guardian on average, if you don't have the right figthers add about 3x to that and if you don't have the right fit/skills you probably won't be able to rep the fighters, they all die and your left using sentry drones (you did pack LOTS right?) and it'll take about 2 hours (maybe more if your unlucky).

EDIT: Thats based on using a thanatos with the fighter damage bonus, takes a bit longer without the bonus and whether its even feasible at all will depend a bit on system effects. (This was also using a max skilled link alt to boost the local tank).

EDIT2: I'll hasten to add this was just done out of interest back in the day and not an experience I'm in any hurry to repeat.

Just to put it out there, a ninja legion can net around 600m+ if done correctly, takes half the time and it's much much cheaper.

This is as nice as I get. Best quote ever https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4137165#post4137165
