I have never seen any Exequor navy issue in fleets and fittings for them, even after the navy cruiser rebalance. Are they viable for PVP/PVE or do they suck?

It's an awesome rail kiter in solo or small gang PVP, in PVE no idea.

I was just going over this ship the other day, as Gregor mentioned the PVP rail kite is a viable option.

As for PVE it is viable but there are other ships that can do each activity you would consider using it for better. I would say if you are grinding level 2s it would be useful, but again there are other ships that can do it better.

Nexeq is a fantastic ship when used properly. Of course, properly means different thins to different people, but to me properly is max gank dual LSE fit that absolutely devours other cruisers, BCs, and some HACs. I've also run a dual rep fit fairly successfully, kind of as a cheaper, more agile Deimos. The Nexeq can kite with rails fairly well, but the cap on T1 cruisers is so atrocious that you have little over a minute of cap without a cap booster.

Here are my two fits of choice:

Nexeq - Face Melter

It has really really stupid dps. 200mm rails work. Neutron Shield Gank. Electron ASB. Dual armor rep. Pretty sure it is faster than all other Non-Pirate T1 cruisers but the Stabber and Scythe Fleet. Neutron Gank + Overheat Everything + Approach + Pray helps scratch the facemelting DPS itch, if you ever get such a thing.

But with the medium rail buff, a small fleet of these rail fit with shield logi support would be rather absurd, actually. Medium rails with antimatter are something to fear now.

As a slightly related matter, I dont know why fleets of 250 rail Brutix Navy Issue havent caught on yet. But that is another story for another day.

EDIT: Liam has posted some good fits for the ENI.

I've thought the same thing, and in paper they really are quit good, except their price is absurd for the perormance you get (except for you lucky Galmil pilots with your LP Blink )

They work in PVE just fine, missions and exploration for instance. Just fit them with EHP (LSE and resist rigs). For PVP a tiny tad too expensive.

Nexeq is like a comet, just bigger. It's an amazingly agile vessel.
