I would like to create a very basic open office spreadsheet with the basic high sec mineral and ore prices.

I managed to find the typeids (I need 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 etc.)

I guess that would be something like this

http://api.eve-central.com/api/marketstat?typeid=34

I would like to have only Jita rpices

I guess that would be something like this:

http://api.eve-central.com/api/marketstat?typeid=34&regionlimit=10000002

I couldn't figure out how to import this to open office. I know it can be done with excel quite easily.

Could anyone help me out, or is there a guide/tutorial for this somewhere?

I did some google search, a google docs version would be also fine.

I have found this line:

=ImportXML("http://eve-marketdata.com/api/item_prices_jita.xml?type_ids="&JOIN(",",$B2:$B88), "/eve/price")

where I don't understand the last part, but I guess

=ImportXML("http://eve-marketdata.com/api/item_prices_jita.xml?type_ids=34

should work?

Sounds like you might be setting up a spreadsheet system.

Check this out: https://sourceforge.net/projects/evemanufacturing/?source=directory

Might make it easy for you?

I've not looked at that.

Does it handle Material Efficiency (skill basedm as they've renamed the skill) waste properly, for extra materials?

It's a common failing.
