Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Ok. So this wil be alittle hard to explain. But here goes.
So me and my corp buddy was out roaming. He was flying a interceptor. I was flying a destroyer (corax). We where on our way to a gate with a small mobile warpdisruptor active about 70km from gate. We where going to hang around the bubble to se if anything got caught in it. My friend landed first at the gate with me following behind. I knew i would get caught in the bubble since it was right in the path to that gate. But here is where it became wierd. Right before i landed. My screen turned black and froze for a bit. And when it unlocked and the picture came back i could see that i had warped pased the bubble and past the gate and laded about 140km from the bubble on the opposite side of the gate. So i told my friend what had happend and where my ship had ended up. But on his screen he could see me sitting inside the bubble. But on my screen i was not even close. He started flying towards me to bump me out of the bubble. So on his screen he was flying towards the bubble where he could see me sitting. But on my screen he was flying away from the bubble towards where i had landed on my screen. I started flying fullspeed towards the bubble all the 140km. And after a while reached it. But on my friends screen he could not see me move at all. Did this make any sense? Im a little confused aswell, but atleast i tried to explain.
