Sorry about the messed up name...but, Gray Beard was already taken.

Thought I'd throw my hat into the ring for third party apps. My brother was using a whole lot of spreadsheets to do his manufacturing and I've played with a few of the already existing manufacturing applications out there. They are very detailed...and overly complicated. So, I wrote this up.

Main page here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/evemanufacturing/

Download the latest here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/evemanufacturing/files/latest/download?source=files

It's not the prettiest of manufacturing apps... Probably not even the most enhanced... but, it's simple and it gets the job done. I'm always open to suggestions and feedback.

140130 - Fixed the URI too long error, updated to 0.0.79.14b

140206 - Sorry it took so long. But, I have finally got a new update uploaded and it's a whopper. So much so, that I have went to 0.0.80.0b. :) Here's a copy of the changelog for your perusal:

140314 - New update! Here's the changelog:

140327 - Released!

140329 - Minor update. Didn't really care for the location of the strategic cruisers so:

140420 - Minor update - Databases, who knew how finicky they could be?

1.1.0.1
· Fixed - Math errors on the Titans with the new database. Apparently, Titans use too much Tritanium!!! CCP, could you fix that please? Actually, it's fixed here.

1.1.0.0
• Changed - Separated the Strategic Cruisers from the cruisers to facilitate the additional breakdowns of ancient materials.
• Changed - Subsystems on the T3 parts weren't fully broken down. You can now see the most basic parts needed to build them.
• New - Added the subsystems to the Strategic Cruisers tab for quick and easy access. They are still under Ship Modifications also to match in-game feel.

1.0.0.0
• Changed - Search feature no longer requires you to be cap specific!
• Fixed - Search feature will actually allow you to select what you want to manufacture now. (Sorry)
• Fixed - Ancient construction parts are now in their own tab so they can actually be built.
• New - On the build tab, under the build menu, you can now copy the entire build to clipboard and paste to a spreadsheet. This uses a tab delimited format.
• New - On the build tab, if you right click on either the parts list or the materials list, you can copy them to clipboard for copying to spreadsheet. These are tab delimited.

0.0.80.1
· Changed - Updated database to Rubicon 1.3 data.
· Fixed - Ammo prices are calculated per charge just as the hubs do. (although, the cost to build the group is still there)
· New - Changed the way the search page is generated so that wildcards can be used. The dropbox no longer clears the search and also narrows down your search even further.

0.0.80.0
· Changed - Redesigned the entire generation of ship builds. Top grid still shows the build list, middle grid now shows highest level of the build if you were to buy the parts, and the bottom grid now shows the most simple breakdown of everything (except planetary components).
· Fixed - When changing the individual ME levels, the price difference and margins were not being updated.
· Fixed - Tech 2 cost was doubling when the ME was changed.
· Fixed - Build screen gliders are now independant of each other.
· New - Added Racial & Tech Level filters to tabs that they were applicable to.
· New - Added the ability to set the ME levels based on tech level, faction, or storyline. Blank fields will be ignored.
· New - Added a view record function - press ctrl - f to view raw data (read-only sorry)
· New - Added backup & restore ME Level capability.

0.0.79.15
· Fixed - T3 Costs have been updated - It appears the Rubicon update messed up my DB just a little. (missing data)
· Fixed - When entering/changing individual ME values, price would reset to 0 and materials would not update. Error in programming has been fixed.
· Fixed - It was noticed that the materials was not being correctly calculated for anything after the Rubicon update. This was due to missing data. This has been updated. Thank you Koda Arji!

0.0.79.14
· Fixed - Turrets & Bays would sometimes cause a URI too long error - This problem has been remedied by getting prices in smaller chunks.

0.0.79.13
· New - Added a changelog for release to public.

0.0.79.12
· New - Added Fuel blocks to the POS tab.

0.0.79.11
· New - Updated DB to include all Rubicon 1.1 items.

0.0.79.10
· New - Added ©CCP hf. All rights reserved. Used with permission. to about box.

0.0.79.9
· Changed - Nothing Found now flashes between Red & Black (more attention getting)
· Fixed - Build screen is now readonly (wouldn't change the values if you change anything anyways)

Thanks for this but....

When it is updating prices etc I keep getting "414 Request-URI Too Large"

Any idea what the problem is, this little app looks easy to use and certainly one of the better ones out there.

Some of the groups are a little bit large. I will break them down even further. I apologize for this error and will get it fixed and back up in a jiffy.

What gets me is the prices, they are so bloody factual that I just use it for that purpose, great app, keep up the good work.

Some ammo that I have checked seem to ignore that they produce X amount resulting ammo. So I have to divide the construction cost shown by amount of produced items to see if its lower than sell price.
Lots of excellent stuff, but what good is a spreadsheet that in itself requires more calculations to show what ammo should be first off the production line?
Anyways, good work!

Awesome little tool, nice and simple and i personally like the interface :)

However one suggestion, is it possible to add change the filter option for instance if you look at the example below it doens't esem to have a wildcard option at start of the term.. for eg *navy* shoudl return all items with the word 'navy' in, but what its doing is returning just items beginning with navy. so for eg.

Raven Navy issue

can be found using raven, but not with navy :)

hope i make some sense lol its sunday im lil hungover :)

The other one that for the life of me I cannot find are the module (or non capital) t2 component bpo's

so all t2 items just lit the component required and do not allow us to modify the me/pe of the component bpo's we use :)

cheers

Still the only person to offer corp creation free of charge. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=35634#post35634 Created over 200 was 3rd on the all time corporation job history on eve-board. This service is in stasis due to personal game time...

I haven't tried this application (I try to avoid apps from random people. It's not personal)

However, there's a common bug in manufacturing tools that I'm hoping you've avoided. Though I'd mention it, so you can confirm.

Material Efficiency waste (skill waste) applies to extra materials, which are also in base materials.

I'm hoping you're avoiding that issue. Smile

:) Don't you mean Material Efficiency waste does not apply to the extra materials? That they are fixed where the the base materials are what varies? Or, am I reading that incorrectly?

Thanks!

You make perfect sense. Right now I don't have wildcards built into the app. I'll see about getting that added. :) Thanks for the suggestion!
