I just cooked a BLT and still taking module damage. Also, I seem to be able to overheat modules even though I don't have thermodynamics even trained. So confused :P

Exactly, not enough bacon. One BLT simply won't do it.

And let me guess, your market alt will sell me this bacon at a discounted rate? xD

Yeah, going to report it now. Also - running 2x navy omni tracking links with optimal range scripts - which has no effect on optimal range of sentry drones (show info on drones in bay or in space) - it sticks @ 20km. Something is really wrong here.

When cast in the depressing light of CCP's not-so-secret plan to eventually remove drones outright, it's not surprising at all.

Have we ruled out you buying a "Jita special" fitted ship on contract?

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

lol yes :) I can repair the heat damage, undock, and cause the heat damage again - all without any skill in thermodynamics. Very standard mission Domi setup.

Are you absolutely sure that you don't have Thermodynamics trained? There are times where even I am surprised by what I have trained. You may have accidentally tapped the green bar on the top of the module which would activate the overload and the overload module bled heat to the adjacent ones.

if you definitely don't have it trained, then its a genuine bug, and you should screenshot and report it with appropriate logs.

Shift-click also toggles overheat. Which I discovered because shift is my push to talk key.

Do you have Thermodynamics injected?
It is possible lvl 0 actually allows overheating?

is it possible CCP could chime in to keep us from continually guessing? LOL

This would be nice. You can reproduce this bug just by creating a alt character with no skill training, undock, and start trying to overheat things (sometimes the full overheat rack works, sometimes the overheat on a module (by using shift+Fkey or by clicking the OH section of the module icon works).

CCP, you guys aware of this? Something is really wrong here :P

Edit: Again - this only seems to work when items that were UNABLE to be overheated prior to the 1.1 patch are overheated. Undocking in a Noctis with the only overheatable module being a 10mn MWD - I am unable to reproduce this bug. Can do it over and over again with Tracking Links and ECM bursts, however.

Heh, if anybody has any doubts about if devs are playing their own game the answer is no, they aren't. Not even to test changes they just made. Deployment to TQ might be successful, server has a new version installed after all, but all those functionalities frakked up? Oh boy...

OP, do you use key macros like from a Logitech keyboard?

I used to use the "G-keys" on my old G11 keyboard to control my mids and lows the same way the F keys controlled my highs. Due to bugs in the logitech software (or maybe it was the hardware?) it would sometimes overheat everything on all three racks. It was pretty wierd, and I lost more than a few fights doing that.

Anyways, if you're using logitech keys to control your modules - don't. The software is buggy.

So little apparent value, but such a large patch (took over 3 hours to download at the hotel last night).

The size of the patch implies to me there was a lot more going in on the back end than is apparent from the patch notes.

I don't believe they intend to 'remove drones outright', they just don't know how to deal with them right now.
