Had to evac from a C3. With luck, I found another empty C3 from the same lowsec system. No stations & my home static was close to eol. I was literally dumping ships out in a safe spot in lowsec. Lets just say, I got jacked by the local pirates.

Decided to run lowsec exploration sites some where in aridia again. My scan alts were in some other hole I was spying on. Some1 decided it would be funny to roll my static and thus the hole was left with an alt that didn't have scanning trained at all. Aridia lowsec to Highsec is a very long & dangerous trek when in 1b isk worth ships.

Rattin in provi with someone, my friend in an omen got tackled on a gate by a solo Veto. Tempest. I engaged in my thorax, because I thought I could help.

Taking an ishkur within web range of a deimos, when we had him outnumbered and tackled already.

AFK-ing Jita to Torrinos in navitas with 2 faction hardeners and an imperial navy LAR.

Not checking wardec status when joining sov holding alliance. Lost an ishtar filled with a lot of t2 mods in cargo.

Running a 10/10 at 5am. Tired. Fail to notice the black legion gang in local when I warp to gate towards home. Lose a half-bil ishtar.

This one is one of my favorites. We were waiting two jumps out for a neutral alt to join corp in space in order to get a surprise tackle on a wartarget orca. Somehow everyone in the gang except me warps to the wrong gate. I tackle the orca and a hulk and start shooting. I'm so amped up that I forget to disengage in my taranis once the rest of the gang arrives. I end up burning away at 2% structure. Orca is going down, my shiels are up to 30%. At this point I decide to go back in on the orca, whereupon I get 1-shotted by a hobgoblin.

Warping a tengu gate to gate through rancer without checking local or dscan. Ran into a few dozen smartbombing rokhs. Made worse by the fact that it was a replacement tengu.

though this was just w-space but if kspace is in then man do i have some good ones.

I was out in venal belt ratting in some stupidly low dps bc combo. Before DT, I found an officer, i think it was thon. couldn't kill him. Had to go to the next system over & beg for help. Finally got some1-russian- to come help & kill the bastard. Held up the ends of the deal; made a new friend.

After downtime, low and behold, I find Kiakka officer in the same system, this time; every1 and their mother arrived cause my russian friend told every1 about the encounter. My russian friend is at work & has to log. I switched to a naga go get enough dps to kill kiakka & I now have about 10 or so russians chasing me around belt to belt whilst also trying to pop kiakka who decides its cool to move at 2.5km/s & warp belt to belt. Russian dramiel got lucky; webbed and managed to drop on him. Some how i didnt get pod express & the gracious russian hosts gave me the tag.

TLDR; always bring enough dps to break officer tank.

I tried to undock in my ishtar once and was unable to because I had too many drones in my drone bay. After 5 or 10 minutes of wtf'ing my monitor, I realized I needed to train HAC V.... AGAIN.

My best one...

Around 2007, me and all the people I met and <3 in EVE coalesced in a low-sec dead-end pocket and grew together - one day random more-experienced-corp-who-lived-in-lowsec-for-a-long-time shows up and wardecs one of our bro corps. All other corps band together, and simultaneously wardec the aggressor. Its on...?

Day 1 of the war, we have a nice fleet of 20-30 dudes, we're ready, we're trying to figure out where they are, we see them on dscan but back then not many of us had probing skills/probing alts..

Eventually calls come on comms to warp to the scout who claimed to have found them .. Nobody seems to notice that said scout has only been in the corp he's in (the corp that was originally wardec'd) for about 2 days, but everyone seems to trust him implicitly.

Upon landing, we find ourselves outside a hostile POS, taking fire. Shocked

This whole circle-of-fun led to the creation of a destined-to-fail alliance too, which is a whole other story!

When I first read this at a glance, it looked like it said "PL on my main", rather than "PI on my main", and I giggled a bit wondering what class Titan you were flying. ;)

in no real order....

1) jumped through a gate and got attacked by a war target. Launched my drones and started attacked the WT... started losing to the WT.. hit mwd and started smashing jump on the gate to get out... wound up poping. 1) did not realize that I had to recall my drones so my agro would go away and I could jump, and two did nto realize I was not being warp scrambled till I warped my pod off. This was in my second year so 8 years ago.

2) jumped into a Gate camp with a covert ops, in a panic I completely forgot I could cloak....

3) lost 20 badger 2's in an hour to the same gate camp. I had a pos that really needed fuel and I was beign stubborn and would not fit a WCS.

4) My first carrier, I had it for a week, and was ratting in 0.0. I forgot to have small drones, and was warp scrambled by an npc. By the time I realized my fighters could not kill the damn thing and I was asking for help form a corp mate, a red entered system and called in his buddies. First and last time I ever shead carebear tears in local, this was... 6 years go?

5) My first and only nyx I listened to alliance mates and decided to gate camp with it... got jumped by dictors and guardians... to my credit instead of logging and maybe living I survived for about 40 min before I poped. Though one of my Russian alliance mates warped his super in to 'save' me... he did not understand my NO DO NOT WARP command.. he poped in 5 min. You can find the kill mails if you really want to look. because of this, my corp mates and eve friends have pretty much forbidden me form ever flying a titan... i'd lose it in a month lol.

6) Was doing a moon goo reaction and forgot to turn on the last silo to collect the goo.. oops.

7) when wormholes first came out, I sold 50 60m isk subsystems for 60k.

8) Learned the hard way why you don't give every tom **** and or harry 'starbase config' roles....

As a newb running that Sisters of Eve newbie epic arc, I was fitting a baby Algos and flew it out to Old Man Star to pick up a cheap afterburner.

Oh, and my first ever wardec, I got excited and fit out a killer-Merlin and tackled a war target Venture off the undock at Jita. Problem was it was still 5 hours to go before hostilities were authorized.

Whenever I make it out to k-space, the first one or two stargates I go through, I always pause to bookmark, then right click show info to check what stage of collapse it's at... after one our two gates I acclimate... :)

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this. :D
