I am experiencing a bug with salvage drones. When the drones are launched from the bay they do not salvage wrecks when I click the "Salvage" command. Wrecks are floating next to my ship so this is not a range issue.

Other bizarre related things:

If I've an enemy ship targeted and click "Salvage" I receive a message that says "Drones cant attack ship that is out of range." >>This is when I click Salvage!!

Please help. This is not cool.

EDIT: I've noticed sometimes it works as it should. For example I just finished a 2 part quest. First part I finished and could not use the drones to salvage the wrecks. But after using the Acc. gate and finishing the second part. Oddly enough my drones began to work and I could salvage the second wave of wrecks.

Not sure whats going on. Pls rev!

Verified. Auto-salvaging (nothing targeted, "Drones in Local Space" are told to salvage) now does nothing. Drones continue to orbit the ship as if they never got the order.

Bug report filed.

Workaround: Salvage targeted and highlighted wrecks one at a time.

- Target one or more wreck
- Highlight a targeted wreck
- Right click "Drones in Local Space"
- Select "Salvage"

Drones will salvage the single wreck, then return to orbit the ship and idle.

Repeat as necessary for all wrecks.

I accidentally my ship, is that bad?

^^ Having same problem they just don't want to auto-salvage anymore. They are on strike!, or CCP lobotomized my salvage drones..

Workaround defeats the whole purpose of the feature
