Snorlax, you cant be serious. I dont want to be rude, but this issue is affecting whole game play. If you know whats wrong, fix it now pls, cause you cant make it worse than it is.

I'm sorry, we can't release a fix to low level graphics code without more testing. I appreciate that this is frustrating but we can't risk breaking the game for even more players. My team has worked hard to identify a fix but we can't rush it, much as I'd like to.

The fact I've now lost two ships to this bug crashing two different systems means I'm less inclined to play this game

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm still inclined to keep fixing bugs and improving the game.

I am really happy to hear that and you have my thanks for that :)

I was just wondering, you made a mistake in game, we are loosing our ships, are you going to fix that on kb and also to replace our isk?

It's genuinely ridiculous to ask them to fix your killboard and only mostly ridiculous to ask for reimbursement.

The FPS monitor in-game still shows DX11 in the top corner despite my having told the launcher to run in DX9. Monitor wrong or launcher setting didn't work?

I'm optimistic we have found a fix - we need to do more testing to make sure nothing else broke. Assuming the testing goes well we'll have a patch ready on Monday.

In the meantime, turning off anti-aliasing should reduce the chance of driver crashes on AMD cards.

Does said fix maybe sorta possibly kinda also fix the same issue on nVidia cards? I'm having the same crashing issue (although not DRIVER crash, just client crash) on my 760 GTX

A question for the masses. I am one of you who are currently having issues with graphics card recovery, DX11, etc. I switched to DX9 and so far have no issues, except when multiboxing, the framerate becomes excessively slow, almost like it would if there were a latency issue. Question is, are these issues related? This was not the case prior to 1.1 and using DX11.

If this fix works, is there any chance it can be deployed in a hotfix asap instead of Monday? some of us would actually like to play sometime this week please.

What about an optional download?

This is clearly not a server issue, can you let those of us who literally cannot play take our chances on side effects please?

switched to DX9 with the launcher still getting crashes AMD video drivers stop responding, and eve stops responding with a grey/white screen and lags my computer down to a crawl until i close it.

Noticed on gates, stations, in warp, logging in, at poses.

Windows 7 Pro/Windows 8 Pro (seems windows 8 pro last longer before it crashes vs my windows 7 install)
Intel I7 4770k
Twin ASUS R9 290x CrossFireX
ASUS Maximus VI Extreme
16Gb GSkill Trident 2400Mhz

Nothing else but eve does this, game is unplayable... i crash every 2-3 minutes making it pointless to login .

We have come up with a much simpler repro case that consistently crashes my AMD display driver (and even blue-screened once). We have a potential fix that we're about to test with the original repro case - more on this later.

You couldn't test this before Rubicon 1.1 stopped hundreds from playing? ಠ_ಠ

Interesting. I've had a few reports from playings with similar numbered nvidea cards as well, but they've all been macbooks.

Don't know what the connection is there.

Been have driver crashes usually the first time after i warp after loading EVE for the first time. Its often worse if i warp to a heavily bubbled gate, though it has happened after warping to an asteroid belt.

Maybe if you'd applied this kind of testing to begin with you wouldn't break **** all the time?

now now guys, play nicely.

I'm sure they didnt do this on purpouse. In complex and huge project like EvE is, counting in for problems with third party hardware is something thats really hard.

I support fixing this stuff AFTER they test their fix more then they tested 1.1 patch, we really dont want something else broken instead.

I just hope that they will reimburse the damage done tho..

Same problem.
AMD Radeon HD 7800. Have updated drivers, windows and everything. Crashes when there's a lot of traffic.

Almost reinstalled EVE...

Eve client freeze and go to full white screen since rubicon 1.1 was deployed.
Sometime it's even hard to close EVE from task manager.
Stopped playing yesterday since even disabling antialising and all graphic effects doesn't reduce the crashes.
