I'm also experiencing the same issue, on stargates and accel gates, switching DX11 to low shaders or switching to DX9 "fixes" it, though I don't seem to be able to multibox in DX9. I also filled a bug report from this char about this, I guess you can close it as you're working on it. Also almost lost a 4B crow to this :S

I have the same problem only swapping to DX9 really did not fix the issue. I still crashed, just took longer for it to so do.

I am running Windows 7 64 Bit, Catalyst Drivers 13.12 (latest), and a HD6850.

Exactly the same, crashes every now and then.

You guys did a great job in this deployment. Props to the test team.

also have crashes now, also when leaving warp / closing in on gates
no crashes while in station

win 7 64 bit, amd radeon 7950 hd, 13.12 catalyst

changing to dx9 doesnt solve the issue for me

im getting a windows error message that the driver was reinstalled after a hardware freeze - Oo

seems eve r1.1 totally screws the amd driver up - or the other way around
other games like crysis 3 run fine, no problems at all, so its eve it seems

Same problem here, running Win 7 64-bit, HD 6950 and the newest drivers. Switching to DX9 reduced the amount of CTD from about every 5 minutes to once in 6 hours.

Same thing for me on Radeon 5700

win7 64 bit

switching to directx 9 now

happens whenever I log in on 2 accounts and can aggravate it by changing resolutions

DX9 seems to take a bit longer to crash, but still does regularly. no error message, just freeze with the sound continuing fine.

I briefly bought myself about 25 minutes by disabling HDR. But now it just keeps crashing almost instantly from log on. It now will actually "recover" for a second or two, and I can pan the camera around bu tmy ship wont move except once every two or three "crahes", then it gets through a gate, and crashes and revoers a few more times.

I'm not crashing, but often times when I'm going into warp it seems like my entire computer freezes. We're talking about EVERYTHING stopping, the screen going black, drive activity ceasing, and then it just comes back to life and I'm back in a normal warp.

This is new for me with the 1.1 patch. No other system changes or patches have been performed.

I feel for those of you who are crashing and losing stuff... I'm sure one of these times I'm going to end up crashing too.

following config works for me atm on radeon hd 7800 series even while dualboxing without any crashes so far:

- set dx9
- disabled hdr
- disabled resourcce cache
- disabled anti aliasing
- disabled post processing
- rest on high as usual

maybe it helps some of you to bypass the time until patch.

Running i5 3570, R7970, no OC...
win 7 64 home premium,
latest amd catalysts (13.12)

Please don`t blame the drivers, you guys - I mean CCP - f*ckd up again... Please show us - paying customers - some respect and don`t implement new faulty software... cause like I`ve just said we`re customers, not beta-testers...

Before Rubicon 1.1 all was fine, just after a patch deployment every time I first time initiate warp - doesn`t matter - to station, POS, system gate - driver crashes... Funny - after ctrl-alt-del and app manager killing time - when I relog I can jump through gate and then play like nothing happened. It`s weird but i always see this occuring when i`m about to enter stargate/POS/station grid and this little thingie next to cap display showing system scanner working is lit and doing scan, a moment before the "halos" around plexes show, and rhombuses in the middle of anomalies should start to blink.

Changing divers, dx to 9 from 11 doesn`t change anything...

EDIT@below:
Since fixed window mode is available I use it all the time.

Use Windowed mode. The frequency of crashes is reduced and the radeon driver will be able to recover and EVE will keep playing as well. There will only be a momentary lock up for a few seconds while the driver reloads.

I've always used windowed mode, and since this started happening, the driver does indeed recover, but eve does not.

Using the tips from ReeZaaa:
- set dx9
- disabled hdr
- disabled resourcce cache
- disabled anti aliasing
- disabled post processing
- rest on high as usual

I'm not only able to run one client, but all three. We'll see how long it lasts.

6850 here, and getting the driver crash. Using Win 7 64. Switching to DX9 makes it happen less frequently, but does not eliminate it.

Sometimes after loading the gate, I get the crash. Upon recovery, the ship (actually, all other ships, too) is gone, and I see only the background of space. I need to restart the game at that point.

Crashing on stations and gates

Win7 64
HD 5970 with latest drivers

dx 9 and 11 both cause a driver crash

One of my characters is currently unplayable, crashed outside a station and upon login, another crash.

Would like to point out that nothing was changed/updated on my system other than the patch for Eve.

Patch was an improvement from yesterday, at least I can play now!

However, ships are all invisible except for engines - in space and in station.

Just another for the list
same crashes, I'm in a wormhole, crashes most often during warp.
Eve is pretty much unplayable due to frequency.
