Confirmed with AMD 7750 with latest drivers. Happened twice, 1. after warping to POS 2. on gate. Second crash also BSODed my system. EDIT: Switching to DX9 did not help. And now mine characted is stucked on gate, crashing always when he warped back. Thank you very MUCH CCP. Apparently testing of this patch have been very extensive...

I crashed as soon as I undocked from station, I barely can fly without multiple crashes from my AMD driver.

AMD 5870
Catalyst ver. 13.12

It's something related to AMD graphic cards or their latest driver is conflicting with the 1.1 patch.

Confirming that testing this on another character BSOD'd my system. That was quite annoying.

Just to say that I got my client working again by changing the effects settings to all off (middle box of Display & Graphics menu). No crashes since.

I got AMD Driver crash when I started a fight. Logged in afterwards, in a pod. Tried warping to a gate driver crashed again.

Been having lots of crashes since Rubicon 1.1 - in station and out.

Adding 2c, seems my card works fine so long as the Texture Quality is set to low, everything else is maxed. Using an HD7970 with current drivers and DX11, YMMV but it seems that setting Texture Quality down will make the game playable.

I just lost my high grade slave pod to this issue.

ATI card, i5 CPU. Graphics drivers crashed. Could hear my pod dying. thanks CCP. Here's everyone talking about this issue, you have no excuse to not reimburse me through my petition.

Same issue like everyone here with ati 7800 series.

directx11 workaround for me:
- disable resource cache
- disable hdr
- disable anti-aliasing
don't know which of the causes the issue.....

i was able to navigate in space, dock, undock and jump through portals while dualboxing. didn't try actual fights so far.

Not sure if they are station-related, but the individuals responsible for the stations have also been alerted.

well good I'm glad CCP at least responded to your post about this because mine was ignored :)

Further, direct x 9 mode seems to be a temporary fix... too bad i'm not able to leverage my graphics potential now

Read the title and knew it was a radeon involved.

Nothing to do with stations, I am crashing in a wormhole space.

My ship will appear, but the moment the capacitor UI appears it crashes.

So, SOMEHOW. my Radeon driver crashed as I was landing at my personal tower. Normally I have it bookmarked but I landed 50km off the tower for no reason at all. I have no bookmark out in that spot and I rewarped and landed in the tower jsut fine so it wasn't the password bumping me out. I warped from a corporation tower with corporate member forcefield. I could just be crazy.

Anyway, notable points:

That's 58km is where I ended up from the tower. There's no way I can select to warp to at 58km :)

In other news , I'm not at a wormhole but yet I get (or anymore remotely near one):
Quote:
Sending UI event to WWise: music_switch_zero_wormhole

right before the exception, why?

And there's this gem
Unable to initialize NVAPI: ŒGXûÏ”¨Q[/quote]

Why is there even an attempt to initialize the Nvidia API? You should be able to get the video card manufacturer ID. It's also clearly returning garbled text because something went wrong.

Changing stream 4, which is reserved by Trinity. Undefined behavior.
Maybe you guys should define it :)

HD 7900, relatively same issue as everyone else. Issues ranging from client crash to hard lock requiring reboot. My crashes seem to not be as frequent as some of the post, but does occur when coming out of warp. Switched to DX9 and so far, so good.

HD 7970, constant crashing until I switched to DX9.

Opened up a monitoring program and noticed that my card's voltage was dropping in time with the crash... Opened a voltage adjustment program and found that my voltage was being forced down just before every crash....

How?...

First game I have ever heard of having any affect on the core and memory voltage of a player's video card...

Logged in for the 1st time scince1.1

made 2 jumps

eve client dumps me to desktop and becomes unresponsive
and it happens again instantly on trying to re-log

seem to be stable on logging to a docked character
but anything in space causes instant crash

Radeon 7850 card

never had any problem before patch

Edit: Changing to DX 9 via the launcher has fixed it for me

Same issue for me. CPU spikes to 100% on the relevant core, display stops updating. On the first occasion it happened the display driver crashed, forcing me to end the client process. The second time (landing on the same grid after the e-warp on logging back in) it recovered after about 15 seconds.

I had no problems flying near stations or gates, until I warped to a system with a bubble on the gate. Something in the patch has borked the new particle effects for bubbles and forcefields, I suspect.
