not a very wise move of CCP on that one, pushing a broken update to production ...

wouldn't it be nice to use the test server (oh wait, there is a test server ? really ?) and ask affected people to test for new patches instead of breaking the game for just more people (everyone ?) , this looks completely stupid to me :(

I hope we will at least get reimbursed for this lost day of play

I know this is an OSX issue but it's linked to this current issue, this is the same crash/freeze issue PC users are getting quite much.

This game is now completely unplayable at this rate, we need to be reimbursed for this gameplay loss.

It took a week to fix the AMD problems which actually didn't fix it and all that happens next is the rest of the player base gets given a broken patch.

@CCP Snorlax, where is our fix? Please update?

It will go out tomorrow (Tuesday) - events beyond our control prevented the patch today.

You guys do realize you:

1) Didn't fix the issue for a lot of windows users.

2) Broke the game for all of your linux users.

Thing is really this patch was rushed out without testing on SiSi. I found bugs on SiSi last night and I found them too late, They got patched onto TQ today and now I'm affected with the bug which made SiSi unplayable, therefore making TQ Unplayable.

I'm not gonna blame u for not fixing it after a week, i'm gonna blame u for not answering my petition after a whole week.

I can even wait a month for a fix but damn... can't you realize that ignoring ppl make them angry?

@ least make an official post to reassure players u will reimburse lost ships due this graphic driver crash!!!

I fixed my note.

So not fixing the AMD issues and breaking other things. Therefore more bugs exist now than before.

Linux thread about the post patch broken client : https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4193546

And yeah it's amazing how one patch untested can break so many things...
+1 to the QA team!

4) Rumor has it that it broke vmware installs of windows...

Im still getting NVIDIA drivers crashes with a GTX 260 with the latest gforce 332.21 drivers. I've seen it happen when docking/undocking stations. I use DX9. Windows 7 64x. Everything at minimum.

This time happened when I got to a POS with an Avatar in it. I had to close the game and tried 3 times to log back in and drivers crasher everytime after character select.

And I STILL want to know if this will damage my gpu? Do I need to stop playing???

A game cannot dmg your GPU.

While captain's quarters for some reason used more GPU computational power than the entire DayZ map of 225km square, but if your video card is overheating you have a poorly put together computer in what's probably a ****** case unable to vent heat.

It does seem to myself that it is time to at least give this suggestion some serious consideration.

To me it appears that this is not an AMD or NVidia issue or DX11. It appears that DX11 and DX9 and both NVidia and AMD users are affected to some degree.

I myself have had EVE close on me and throw me back to the desktop and I am using an NVidia card on DX9. I also know others that are using NVidia cards and using DX9 that are also having problems.

So what gives CCP do you know what is causing this and have a solution in mind because if not it might be time to start considering a roll back.

Windows 7, GeForce 250 GTS. I've managed to run eve successfully ONCE since this morning's patch. Every other time, starting in character selection, my whole screen - not just the client - starts to flicker. If I don't try to log in, and try to close the program swiftly, I just get a display driver crash. If I try to log in, I bluescreen and reboot - again, with that solitary exception.

Agree.. A response would be nice at this point. What is the problem? When might it be fixed? Are you currently working on it? Any possible solutions?
