On a range scripted TD, heating it give more falloff penalty than optimal.

I suspect the falloff amount is set to be equal to the optimal amount (which includes heat) and is then getting a heat bonus on top of that

Corporate Hangar Array killmails are bugged. The killmail itself shows up, but it says there were no contents even when there are.

CCP mostly sucks at their job, but Veritas is a pretty cool dude.

I don't know if the fix got in today (read: Friday) but I've jumped 30+ systems, missioned and no problems with AMD drivers recovering or client crashing. I did not change a thing, no setting, nothing.

Ok, this seems to be a common theme. My char was also in a blockade runner. Prowler, more precisely.


This is still happening. I either need this fixed or I want the skill points back from researching Minmatar Industrial 5 as the Prowler is currently unusable in hostile territory and annoying to use in friendly territory.

after that big patch a few days ago, my client does the same thing.. it freezes and a pc restart is required.. moved to my mac .... same result so its not hardware... was logged on a few mins ago then it froze and when i reloged... moment i warp it freezes...

now not playable 8(

Idk if this is server problem, worked yesterday. Today launcher wouldn't verify, say something about "Exception" then launcher would crash, then tried uninstalling eve and re download. The 4.3 mb "installer" will not download! It gets to 32kb then stops. Test inernet connection 8.1mbs from were I live to Iceland (and tested world in general) can still torrent over 1mb/s and steam is fine, but cannot download from CCP?!

Started up launcher, didn't launch so tried repair.exe

now it's taking forever to "repair"

and it's stuck at there

i reboot my laptop many time.. closest one i have been to was 8 sec left with like 99% done and it was stuck there for 2 hours.

sigh... now i'll miss out filling my training queue..


edit: oh wow... few hours after posting this, i decide to take screenshot of launcher fail and it just loaded.. And I'm back in EVE

Yep I been having fun with the AMD driver issue, namely my display adapter fails and recovers but EVE is screwed so have to re-start EVE. This was using DX11 and occurred when ever starting to fight in any circumstance, thankfully switching to DX9 seems to have solved it.

A few days ago it was mentioned that the issue of LP payouts on ESS deployables was going to be looked at. I notice it is not under the known issues list, is this still being looked at?

Yeh, so AMD HD6800 series with latest drivers. Eve repeatedly crashes with the windows error "AMD drivers have crashed" and the whole game freezes up. Started after latest update. Have completely reinstalled video drivers and EVE client as well as repairing the client without any solution. I've heard I should revert to DX9 from 11. And I was so looking forward to some DX11 eye candy.

i was able to run these same plexes before the patch so i can only deduce that this was caused by some change with 1.1 or was this some new stealth feature?

Picky point.

The "Mobile Micro JUMP Unit blueprint" has type "Mobile TRACTOR Unit blueprint."

Very confusing at first glance in Contract view.



Maybe I missed a perfectly valid CCP reason for this. However i suspect its probably better if you hide such details from ordinary users so as not to confuse them in UI...even for a moment. Because after adding alcohol or other recreational distractions the confusion may be more than momentary.

The best games can always be played stone drunk...if not with coordinated success at least without (much) mental confusion and distress.

Kestrel Traits broken?
They state 5 % bonus to Kinetic damage of light missiles/rockets, though actual damage (and dgmEffects) are still similar for all kinds of small Missiles.

Hi,

I'm experiencing a bug i reproduced several times :

I'm selling QTY A of some stuff in a station for x ISK per unit. I buy QTY B of the same stuff to someone else in the same station for z ISK per unit :

I get the QTY B for the price z but lhe QTY A disappear from my selling orders. It's neither in my inventory. It's on the market, sold at price z. It switched and i'm no longer the owner of the QTY A.

I already made a support ticket but i thought i had to warn you. If it's not a bug related to some specific articles or stations, it will be a real mess.

If anyone else can reproduce let people know.

I've got my own bug to report.

Reproduced several times, when pressing 'view market details' on an item, or any other button that has the same effect ('Buy PLEX on EVE market' for example)., the group tab, that normally appears in that area, appears on top of the market details in a transparent fashion, until you interact with it, where it disappears.

I do have an ATI card, if that helps, though I haven't TRIED to reproduce it on another computer.

I do have DX 11, though the launcher only ever lets me chose DX9, oddly.

You probably already heard this but....

hardware may be new to you - Oops but are your installed video drivers the latest available?

Shocked installed OEM drivers can often be a year old. installed software may be compiled before the hardware design finalized. And drivers certainly never updated as computer sat waiting to be sold.

and CCP tends to write and release for the absolute newest drivers to insure the most sparkling graphics is delivered to users. Usually recent drivers are backward compatible with the newest driver features...but not always. And CCP depends on automated development software from vendors and hardware specialist to install patches to bridge the gaps when new drivers do jump forward with new incompatible features.

So you see CCP development is not the first line of defense again incompatible video drivers. CCP coding is often the last line for making video compatible (or their frantic call to the video manufacturer who may or may not be responsible on specific features depending on how widely its used).

Roll And of course if CCP gets the fix from the video manufacture -- you will only benefit if you download the new driver that results. So keep checking for new driver releases. CCP does not always comment that this is how a problem was fixed.

Not really what most EVE players want to see in UI. Most game players are not expecting "type" used in the "mutated from" sense but rather as an all inclusive generalized category ...perhaps "Mobile EW platform" or "Mobile Sensor Interference Platform" as s game play type that includes both.
