Hey all

I was recently blessed with the power of links and was thinking of getting one or two alts for just that. I tried reading up on the imternet but most of the time some crap about pills came up. Is it possible to get ALL the mindlink bonuses using two command ships or can fleets only have one booster?

These are the fits I came up with and are intended for highsec.

There are three boosting positions which will effect any given fleet member; the Squad Commander, the Wing Commander and the Fleet Commander. Given that the heirarchy is filled appropriately therefore it is possible to spread the links among three ships, though additional link ships would be required for each new squad and each new wing to ensure full coverage.

You may not have issues, as few are going to suicide an RvB command ship outside an Incursion system just to see what pops, using the fits you've listed as AFK off-grid boosters but I believe that Incursion fleet boosters are a little more solidly tanked - primarily because they are more critical to the knife edge on which most Incursion fleets are designed to run... and people do like to see the shinies go pop.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not that afraid to be honest of it getting popped, will probably have it outside of a station or something.

But with those two fits, would that cover everything? Thinking that the pilots in question have maxed skills in the respective ships for a small fleet/solo? No more than five people that is.

You actually do know that neutral boosting in RvB fights will be rewarded by a big fat boot up where sunshine won't reach out to? Blink
For fights against 3rd party WT it is ok...

However, having your boosting alt out in space within an RvB-Corp is fine - but expect it to be killed anytime Pirate

yeah, I know, but I wasn't thinking for RvB :p
I've also decided not to go through with it.
