Dx9 and some stutters

Hi all,

I've recently come back to the game. After updating I noticed two issues which I have been trying to solve:

1) stuttering.

I check my FPS monitor - its lowest dip is 48, but usually it stays ~60. Yet, when I move the camera, I get stutters. It is not smooth as I remember it. I've tried going in to Nvidia control panel and setting "maximum pre-rendered frames" to 1, but no dice.

2) directx

I go into settings in the game launcher, move to the directx tab, and it tells me my computer only supports directx 9. However, dxdiag tells me i have directx 11. Also - and this could be related to the first point - the FPS monitor in game says directx 11.

I haven't changed my graphics settings since I last played last year - october ish?

Any help or advice rendered would be greatly appreciated.

i used to have some weird FPS issues too, two things solved it for me:

1- switch to DX9, without using the launcher, using an argument to launch the /bin/exefile

2- run game in fixed window instead of fullscreen.

this solved the issue for bth my laptop and main comp.

no clue about today's update tho, since apparently can't go past the 84% download......

gonna have to do a full install.....again......
