If its true the loss was due to a bug I imagine the least CCP would do would be to move all the locked in assets.

One would think so, but I seem to recall a big collective shrug over in Iceland when all those dreads went down in HED.

Yeah maybe, though jumping hundreds of dreads into a 3000+ man fight was a player decision, while sov dropping due to a bug is out of player control... if its true of course

Reinburse is never given on fleet fights. But dont remember a case of locked assets in amss due to bug to comapre.

But sicne CFC had so much ready at exact moment to jump in.. it seems more likely it was not a bug.. but something.. else...

Pretty sure that it is a completely different thing, its not like those ships in station are actively attempting to jump 700 of themselves into a loaded grid, in an attempt to headshot a node.

and poof 19-7.

Yeah, I would think it would be verifiable on the devs' end to see whether or not it was a bug. Would not put it past someone to fabricate this to try to cover up a misclick Big smile

I wonder how much isk from insurance the economy is going to be inflated by when the dust settles and all the titans are kaput.
Also, if the price/demand for them will rise, and if this translates also into bigger prices on regular caps, as well as mineral prices to rebuild the lost titanfleets.

There is so much liquid isk floating around in wallets already, the insurance payouts for a few dozen titans will just be a drop in the bucket regarding inflation as a whole.

Regarding prices of other capitals, it might affect motherships, but not other capitals. The way I see it, you're either able to build supers, or you aren't. Producers are not going to stop making capitals in order to build supercaps. Any increase in capital prices should be a direct result of changes in the mineral market, which i think sees so much trading volume taht a few dead titans shouldn't be more than a temporary blip (I could be wrong here).

LOL, yeah, trit seems to be a winner in this. Buy orders over 5.10 in Jita and getting bought up to almost 6.00 on the sell side.
