Insurance improvements?

How about being able to search out a LIST of ALL currently INSURED ships? station/solar/constellation/region/EVE-wide
(assets window or maybe the insurance window it)

ideally showing all that info you have for individual ships -- Including EXPIRATION DATE/Time until Expiration

Shocked That List of currently Insured ships would be a lot better than clicking each ship at a station to find out which are insured.

Market improvement?

Do NOT Expire orders out of Market but leave them tied up and active in Broker system. Orders no longer in Market but just in Broker system alone are invisible to user and cannot be canceled, audited or controlled.

Instead either retain orders in Market until removed from both Broker system and Market at DT --
or cancel orders as they expire to force immediate removal and return remain items to user control.

Currently IMMEDIATE sales orders are false advertising as extra items remain tied up in Broker system once all currently existing in range Buy orders are exhausted. As a minimum annotate the IMMEDIATE sales selection with a prominent footnote as to actual behavior.

Fantastic! Thank you so much...I know that 'big' features are all kinds of exciting and stuff, but the "Little Things" make a comparatively HUGE difference in the day-to-day, so appreciate both the work on them, and the time spent to communicate it!

^^^This totally. A lot of people at CCP seem to be busy adding new conflict drivers without bothering too clean up the mess they leave behind them. EVE is a bit clunky and short on polish compared to many other popular games out there. Karkur, thank you so much and keep up the good fight!

I love little things and UI improvements. The search feature for routes is nice.

It would be really nice if I could drag my route to chat so that fleet members can right click -> set route, and have the exact same route, waypoints and all.

i rember taking the industry qustionare and thought of nothing that could use improving turns out i was wrong i have on pi suggestion that is kind of an off shoot of the scanning changes how about an option to save the way we build our plaints or groups of extractors and factories that are attached to one another. this would be useful for thows guys looking to get the most bang for there buck when a spot runs dry just delete it and put another one down also will help when moving between plaints. would also be cool if there was some way to take the same setup form one toon to the next to prevent people form going oober crazy between pi alts

These are all excellent changes and additions.

Quote:
A few releases ago we added the option to highlight in blue your own orders in the "Details" tab in the Market (if you haven't found it yet, check out the "Settings" tab or read my devblog). When you have your orders highlighted, they can be right-clicked to be modified. At the time we added this feature, we figured we should probably not allow you to cancel the orders from there, just to save you from yourself. Based on your requests to have that functionality there, I'm guessing you don't want our help, so we are adding the "Cancel" action to that menu. Just don't come crying to me when you accidentally cancel your valuable market orders!

Could we perhaps make the default double-click action for blue orders be to modify them? Currently it attempts to purchase the items from yourself. Let's get rid of that and cause it to launch the modify order dialog - with the price already highlighted/selected, of course.

Thanks a ton for everything!

Here's my suggestion for a little thing to address...

Can you investigate why sometimes I can right-click "Trade" to station trade between two of my own characters in the chat window (both are in the same corp), and sometimes I can't? About half the time I don't get a Trade option from A to B, but I will have the Trade option from B to A?

If character A cannot start a trade with B, It seems that if I undock B and redock, that it sometimes fixes it.

Also, A can trade with B and B can trade with A in the station guest list, that panel always gives me a Trade option. It's just the chat windows that seem to be unreliable.

The above most commonly occurs when both characters have freshly logged in and not yet flown anywhere.

btw, awesome job on the other changes for 1.1

Yeah I noticed this too - but know why it works sometimes - but not other..
You need to have the tab of guests in station in focus first... Then trade comes up in context menu when you right click.
Since I worked that out, I always have the guests tab as the active tab and no problems any more.

Love the changes! Thanks for the attention to the market. Life as a trader is so much better now.

The show info changes and the grouping of resistances is a masterstroke, and I am forever in your debt.

And thanks for the additional dragging functionality! Since I started Eve nearly 6 years ago, I've been trying to drag everything onto channels etc., and now most things actually work!!

This is brilliant stuff, and please continue in this vein.

Edit: Recently started dabbling in industry again after a while, and am really looking forward to the industry changes!

Any colour you like.

Hrm. I prefer to make do with what's available, but I'm afraid I've got a couple concerns with the latest release.

First, salvage drones seem to be 100% borked with regards to being 'area intelligent'. Previously, if you had a container targeted, or nothing at all, and hit "F" to send your salvagers out, they'd just go do their job. Now they sit there and look at you stupidly. Rather a bit of an irritation having to send drones after each and every wreck, even if they're yours.

Second, can the "insure" button on your right click menu of ships in the hangar be removed? Is there a really strong need for it to be there? It seems rather silly to have it there, especially if you should be preemptive on insuring your ship prior to even considering doing anything, let alone undocking.

Just my two ISK.

Thanks CCP.

I've been doing some PvE again, and of course that involves looting, and so something that's bothered me for a while has once again entered the forefront of my mind and I've been meaning to ask about it.

In order to stack all items in an active container/storage area, one must right-click and select "Stack All" from the drop-down menu. Often times, the game stutters, and you actually have to do this twice in order to see all the items stack up. When you have several hundred varied loot items, this becomes quite annoying.

Since two little bits of information (number of items (selected) and their approximate value) were added to container windows, there is now a nice, open space at the bottom of every window, stretching from the bottom left (where the filter options are located) to these info bits. So, what I would like to see, is a little "Stack All" button somewhere in that gulf of emptiness. Possibly a few other useful buttons as well, but most definitely a "Stack All".

Love the changes.

There has always been 1 feature I miss on contracts:
Make new contract based on old one, having all options preset as they were on the contract you selected
For item exchange that should include: Recipient, contract type, location, item to be traded (if availeble), money to recieve, and especially items to receive in return.
But I think it be usefull on other contract types as well.

I don't remember what's actually included in it, but do you know about the "copy contract" functionality?

The first one is just a defect, has been fixed internally and will be deployed soon.

The second one: I honestly don't understand what you mean. I just added that option there to allow easier access to insure your ship, because before it was difficult to find the correct ship in the ship list and it also takes a while to open it up.

Ugh The one thing CCP never do with the ship insurance, is update the ship market values

I mean, they are the same now, as they were 10 years ago........Cry

As for insuring T2/T3 ships.......it`s a complete waste of isk, as the insurance payout is absolutely abysmal

if you try to view member details on a pilot now and one of those windows is already open, it will be closed and a new one will replace it.

Why can't we have two open edit/view windows? The vast majority of the time I want to have both open so I can compare 2 corp members (for instance to give a newly applied alt the same titles/roles as it's main)

Can you make colored alerts in fleet broadcast window, please? Blue = shield, yellow = cap, gray = armor, green = in position, etc. It will make logi work less exhaustive.
