Hey all,

Firstly

Haven't posted to the eve forums in forever but here's the idea.

Just had this idea, seems easy enough the only issue is obviously it's eve and trust is around Zero, to have a legit betting game where once an hour someone wins a nice isk payout. Obviously i'm not doing it to make nothing myself, but as seen above i'll pay out as guaranteed.

Ran it once, promised 100m isk payout, paid it out regardless of stuff all entrants.

So the go is -

Accepting bets of 1m isk.
Hourly game
At the end of the hour, I generate a random number from 1-3600.
This number is then added to the start hour.
The closest person to this number (as the time they placed their bet) = the winner (omgs).

Currently guaranteeing 25m isk (or 90% of takings if greater than 25m), was 100m but takers were scarce at this point.

Hoping to build up a trust base to gain isk and perhaps even give someone else a nice isk boost.

Well of course it's to make isk. But the best way with such a game to make isk is to actually pay out legitimately. Then whenever I run one, people sub, a prize goes out and my bank goes up. Win win, perhaps?

The screenshot would probably instill more trust if it was of your wallet paying out rather than someone else's wallet being paid into. As it is, it just looks like you've sent your alt some ISK then logged over to it to screenshot the wallet.
