boot camp and thunderbolt display

Hello,

I have a late 2011 MBP which has always run the mac Eve client at max no problems except the heat and fan go to max.

Because of this, I installed windows 7 on bootcamp and have been running windows Eve on that without a problem.

I just got a Thunderbolt display, and the Mac OSX is working great on it,,beautiful! And the Mac Eve client looks fantastic, but still get that heat and fan going to max and loud....

The problem I am having is using the thunderbolt display with boot camp. At first it hooked up fine and the eve client worked well, but I couldn't get the full resolution. Ive tried it mirrored, extended, everything, and I have "repaired" the drivers, the thunderbolt still only displays in 640x something no matter what.

One post I read said that the problem was fixed by closing the lid to the laptop. That just made everything go to sleep and then it wouldn't wake up.

I am running Mavericks, pretty sure its boot camp 5, and windows 7.

Anyone have these issues? Anyone know a fix or what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

not sure about boot camp and tbolt but going window mode for edit: mac eve client will help the heat issue. It does drop the temps a few degrees. Possible Workaround till you hopefully get windows and tbolt working to your liking or an answer how to at any rate.
