OK, so I'm pretty new. I have roughly 400k sp. I want to fly Sansha ships as my primary ships and I was wondering if anyone could suggest s imple skill path for me to work on?

I'm trying to get more info on running Sansha missions as my main thing to do, I just haven't found much on that yet.

Thank you all for any information or suggestions!

if you want to specialize that much, pick up evemon and load up all the skills you need for your ship of choice.

Dont forget the support skills, core competency, or at the very least core fitting certificates are a good guideline. Of course, with certs there are sometimes required skills that have no effect on your ship of choice. Obviously those can be ignored for the time being (in order to get there faster).

At the end of the day though, you will have a lot more than 400k SP before you are truly "good" with any ship. I am sure others can be more specific in their answers for you.

Cant spend alot of time here as im making dinner but if your serious about wanting to fly sansha and fly well my advice is get all ranked 1 skills upto level 5 such as:

Electronics
Signature Analysis
Engineering
Energy Systems Operation
Gunnery
Navigation
Warp Drive Operation
Mechanic
Drones
Hull upgrades

Never flown sansha so unsure what tank they use shield/armor I don't know..

repair systems
Shield operation

These are the basic quick skills that make things alot easier to fit and fly.

Once you grasp an understanding of how these skills work youll be set...

The Sansha ships are shield tanked. But, yeah, you want to get the core skills trained up, those will help you the most with all ships.

Be warned though, the Sansha frig and cruiser are kinda lackluster compared to their other faction counterparts from what I've seen. The Nightmare (their BS) is one of the best PvE ships in the game, but their frig and cruiser are somewhat less than mindblowing.

As stated in the above poster.

The only viable sansha ship will be a nightmare (which is an excellent one btw) and its in PvE. Assuming you want to run missions for the sansha's whose agents are in null sec, using a nightmare is an easy way to loose it.

You can do any hisec lvl4 missions in a nightmare though. you just start with any NPC corp with a good lvl4 security agent, and when you have saved enough you can get one from the market.

Nightmares are always shield tanked and use lasers (I use tachyons) so you have to train up all core skills, gunnery skills and shield tanking skills. To make it easier, you'll be using the following mods on a NM. Start aiming for those.

1. Tachyon beam laser II with faction ammo
2. Heat sink II
3. Tracking enhancer II
4. A large or XL shield booster II. ( use faction/deadspce if you can afford one)
5. Relevant active shield hardeners.
6. Tracking computer II
7. 100mn afterburner II

Include all skills needed for these from evemon into your skill plan. These are just to get into a nightmare. To really finish a mission with this then u'll need all the cap/gunnery/electronics support skills.

Edit: And you'll need t2 drones, so thats another 2 level 5 skills.
