Inventory Shortcut Behavior

My client has started exhibiting the following problem:

Alt-C is the default shortcut to open the inventory. Originally (if I'm not mistaken), it opened the inventory of my current ship--always. If I changed ships while in station, Alt-C would open the inventory (cargohold) of the new active ship.

Now, it seems to open the last-opened inventory. Or perhaps the inventory of the last active ship. It's really finicky.

It's a minor inconvenience. What's weird is I decided to do a reinstall today, and on a fresh install of the client, I still get the 'same' problem. So, am I just imagining things? What's the "default" behavior of this shortcut, and how can I fix it?

I hope I'm allowed to bump my thread.
I wanted to add too, that I tried clearing my cache before trying the reinstall. Didn't do anything.

I'm still experiencing this after the patch. Could someone confirm the default behavior of Alt-C? I feel like I'm hallucinating here.
