Low SP Solo pvp fit

Hey guys,

I recently returned to EVE after a long break. I would really like to become a PVP pilot. I've never done it so far in my EVE life, I've tried to look for a low SP PVP fit but I only found outdated ones or ones where I could not make out what items they meant. Sad

Could any of you please advise a low SP PVP fit that is quite effective? Help would be very awesome, can't wait to get into PVP for the first time and being blown to bits. Pirate

It doesn't really work like that. A fit is based on a strategy and certain strategies only work against certain targets/fits so there is no generic fit that'll work everywhere. Even more so because you didn't tell us what faction ships you want to use or the ship type and targets you're interested in.

I'm sorry for that. I don't mind what kind of faction ship I will be flying, I do however prefer to not use rockets/missiles, so I guess that leaves Caldari out since they rely so much on it though. Blink I really don't mind anything else!

I think the targets I'm most interested in is ganking miners and or some industrialists when I am lucky, but I would like to be able to hold off a other PVP'er too. (One that is kind of new though, I dont expect to win against a veteran or normal PVP´er)

If you wanna gank miners etc you wanna use a ceptor or bomber.

Thanks, but could you please provide a fitting? I see alot of suggestions on the forums etc. (For example Atron or a Incurstus) but no fittings :/.

It is too situational.
join a decent PVP corp and let them know your precise needs.
the miner gank catalyst is easily found at http://www.minerbumping.com/p/blog-page.html.
everything else depends on what you are engaging , what sec space and how many shooting back?
active , passive and buffer tanks vary with need also alpha, dps or range /kite dps.
so many variables, you haven'y narrowed down enough. join some experts and learn.

Let me try and explain why we're hesitant to give fits (the person above me already hinted at it). EVE pvp is a massive rock, paper, scissors.

Any new player who asks "which is best" doesn't really get an answer, and anyone giving a direct answer will be wrong and giving you false info. Because the answer to that question really is "that depends on what you're fighting, rock, paper or scissors". And then said newbie will go "okok, so which is best on average" which if you think about it is the same question really and the answer to that is "well, every type of space tends to favour 1 or 2 types but not necessarily so", because of that you will need to be a whole lot more specific in your question for us to give you a meaningful answer.

A fit depends on the strategy you choose to use against the type of targets you expect to run in to with fits you expect them to have in the type of dpace you'll be fighting in. So a fit for low sec solo pvp will be quite different from a fleet 0.0 PVP one or a smaller gang, perhaps you use links or have logistics, and a fit that works against renters will probably not work against seasoned pvpers. Etc etc etc. Entirely too many variables that can't be discarded when you're looking for proper answers. You can discard them just fine to get simple, and probably mistaken, answers though. Also, some fits require a lot of manual piloting and a solid understanding and experience in PVP, other fits are more... "head first".

So to get any meaningful answers you will have to be more specific in what type of pvp you're looking for. Solo, perhaps factional warfare, small roaming gangs, big 0.0 fleets, Wormhole PVP or perhaps wardecs.

Ah thanks for telling that guys. I will try to be as specific as possible. I would like to use a "kiting" ship (Did quite some research and found it more fun then a brawler) to kill miners and or new pvp'ers.

I prefer to not use rockets, as I have heard they were quite bad in PVP. I am thinking at the moment of a ship with warp scrambler, target disruptor and a MWP so I can orbit around an emeny and shoot him while he has trouble targetting me because of my speed and my disruptor.

Hope I was clear enough this time, if not don't hesitate to tell me.
