That last bit sounded very familiar. Kind of reminds me of what I read about the Nag Hammadi Library.

It's only when you realize that you are nothing that you are free to be everything.

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

How is your fever?

This is Lyris' fiancee, his fever hasn't seem to have broken yet, but he seems slightly less exhausted today. Though it appears he has decided to pass out at the moment while mumbling about blankets, his lost phone, and eve posts. Fear not, I shall watch over him to make sure he doesn't die!

Can you let us know when he gets better thanks

I think I just woke up but I'm not sure if I am dreaming about ice cream or actually posting.

Unfortunately, I've learned little about you from your posts, much less the entirely of your being as you seem to be hoping for.

However, I can instead see the random firing patterns your neurons engage in while under applied heat.

From this template shall we manifest the nadir; from this blueprint we build the NegaLyris.

I had a really bad fever as a teenager. I was sick as a dog and played MoO1 most the day while wishing I'd just die.

That night my fever addled head produced nightmares of the Psilion ambassador yelling at me while ship relocation lines and fleets with impossible and unreadable numbers notating size swirled around in my brain. The night seemed to last for month, years even. That Pslion ambassador.... that look, that booming echoing eternally unsatisfied voice. The 8bit sound effects....

The twilight zone is real, I've been there, inside of my own mind. Aided only by fever and an abundance of Microprose.

There are places a man can go in his dreams, his nightmares, that bleed over into reality. That change him for better or worse. This was one of those places. A hell made up of my own favorite computer game. Twisted and perverted against me.

Which brings me to my next point. Kids, fevers are dangerous and should not go unexamined by a medical doctor.
