To be fair, the proper Minmatar comparison to a Hyperion should be a Maelstrom, not a Tempest - the Tempest's Gallente analogue would be the Megathron.

There are no tiers anymore. You can compare any battleship agaisnt any other battleship.

Want to do it agaisnt emga? Ok.. mega still superior on everything 8 extra low slots HUGE DPS advantage, superior trackign, more agility (that on battleships matter more than speed) Almsot same signature as the tempest. More drones.

For what? 2 neuts... ok.. neuts have their use.. But if the mega doe snto fit 1 of its weaposn it still ahve MORE dps and can have a neut.

Hey, new armageddon very overboosted bonuse for range neuts with bonuse for drone damage make that ship imbalanced in fights.
And why Armageddon/Scorpion have bonuses for electronics but matar/galente dont have same?

variation between races is goo mkay?

If the armageddon is overpowered than what the hyperion and the dominix are?

Want tosee a real imbalance? Comapre hyperion and tempest. Hyperion has, more cap, more HP, More damage, More drones, More low slots, Extra repair bonus (yes it has more damage using a single bonus against tempest 2)...

what tempest have? Smaller signature radius ( but considerablly larger than what used to be before Tiercide) and 1 extra neut.

The armageddon slight overdone power level is NOTHING compared to that.

Why would this be a suprise to you. Both ships reflect racial ethos.

The hyperion is the biggest brawler, and has the biggest, brawliest stats. it is however a slug, with either poor projection or poor accuracy and there no solving both of those at once with it. It must be landed at whatever range it supposed to be at, and your gang or circumstances must conspire to keep it there, otherwise it becomes a useless punching bag.

are you dreaming? I had to personally attack and press Rise several times in the thread of balance for him to increase Tempest speed so it woudl nto be slower than the hyperion. Still.. the hyperion is almost as fast as tempest!

No they do not reflect racial stereotype! Because Minmatar has been loosing their agility by leaps and bounds!!! the hyperion has MORE agility than tempest!! And if we had not made massive pressure it would still be slower and have more mass!!

Hyperion has SUPERIOR damage projection within tackle range!! Up to 20 km it does more damage then the tempest!!

Fact is tempet uses 2 ships bonuses to do LESS DAMAGE than ANY other battleship (with exception of the scorpion that is not a damage boat)

Wrong. The majority of fights in EvE are not fleet fights and contain no battleships. BS are only used in fleet fights and only because of one to three general stats, range, insurance, EHP.

A fleet fight relies solely on directed fire and buffer for RR. Also the ability to drone assist and field non specific BS weaponry (sentries) makes Dominix popular for fleets. Not because it's a battleship.

In non fleet fights where TiDi is not an issue BS are rarely if ever used because they're aweful.

The majority of FIGHTS is irrelevants. THe majority of the SHIPS involved in TOTAL in all fiughts is what matters. And the majority of fight sin high sec ALSO have battleships ( I know.. we are responsible for a large ammount of them) when missiosn runenrs die.. there is a battleship involved.. in the loosing part at least.

You are one of the member of this community that LEAST shoudl give advice on what ships are good or not sicne you are among the worse players that ever posted in the forum. JSut example was that thread of yours about using the golem against a small fleet.

maybe not but they seem to be dividing battleships into attack or combat roles so some comparison is still valid.
