Oh, my sides ache! Lol

You really think you can take in 500bil of investments with your very first forum post?

Copying material from Grendell's thread won't help much without being someone like ... Grendell! I would normally counsel people who make mistakes with their first offering and suggest improvements they could make but I'm afraid that you have pretty much sunk any chances of doing any public business with this character.

Edit - Thanks Julius, you saved me having to find that thread.

And really? You're giving your bank a name that means 'liar'?

Alright, it's funny when you make a silly topic that's obviously plagiarized, and we can all titter and revel in the mystery of whether you're just really stupid, have no sense of effort, or whatever. But when you start lying, play time is over, and it's just a scam. Get out of here.

Yeah. No you haven't. If you had, you wouldn't have edited the OP. Basically, you have been caught out with one of the most feeble scam attempts in recent years, have burned your character and have nothing to show for it.

You're welcome.

The vast majority of goons that engage in scams are quite bad at what they do. The reasons some of them still enjoy a moderate amount of success are:

* step-by-step guides on the forums

* goonfleet.net

* their alliance ticker working in favor of them (which makes it easy for them to use alts/friends as trustworthy references)

* a lack of communications between scam victims and potential scam targets

There is no guide to running a successful MD scam on goonfleet.com, there is no fancy website that can be used to establish legitimacy (although one could imagine a trading statistics website that provides fake data for select users while providing API-sourced data for all others) and their alliance tickers are actually working against them (in a recruitment scam linking two goon characters as references may increase your credibility, on MD linking two goon characters as your sole investors is tantamount to declaring yourself a scammer).
And while in-game your targets usually don't talk to each other (which makes the low rate of success most scammers enjoy no big deal as they can contact a very large number of potential targets without having to change their character or spiel), on MD you only get a single shot.

tl;dr this "most feeble scam attempt" is what your average goon scammer can manage without having his hand held in half a dozen different ways.

Well ****. That's one awful attempt.

Is there any evidence of him being a goon? I think most of the **** scam attempts have been randoms who think they can make easy money.
