Having trouble finding the Jukebox.

Okay I've been a bit too busy to seriously commit to this game but I've taken the time to create a massive playlist of pretty much every song out there I like. I log in, look around, look around more, look around more. Scratch my head thinking. "Did I really forget where the Jukebox is?"

So I turn to Google and to my dismay I find. "Oh and in the latest expansion Eve removed both the animated login screen and the Jukebox." Seriously? The Login screen isn't that big of a deal. Though I preferred the animated login. However why is the Jukebox gone?!

I thought the whole point of expansions was to add to the game features and content not remove some of the best ideas in the genre. Don't get me wrong I like some of the in game music. But other songs are just torture. Even if you didn't want us to add in our own music. (Though I'd prefer to add my own songs into the mix, and it makes more sense that space ship captains would listen to what ever the hell they wanted to listen to.) You could have at least left in the ability to skip tracks. (Oh my god that's the song that makes my speakers screech so horribly skip.

But nope gone.


So I ask will CCP consider returning the Jukebox or does anyone know of a work around. Even if it's merely removing some of the Eve tracks I'll take it. (No offense to Eve. Not all the music you put into it is half as good as you think.)

Just do as I've been doing for years in pretty much every game I play:

Have your preferred desktop music player *cough*foobar2000*cough* and a handful of playlists play the music _YOU_ want to play in the background of your game.

You wouldn't believe how creepy nullsec blockade running can become when you have a playlist containing certain STALKER and RE4 tracks playing.

[Edit] Oh, almost forgot; you'll find the Eve music in res/audio/jukebox in your Eve directory.

Wait I can still edit the playlists but it just plays on shuffle? That works. Though I will say I miss the Jukebox.

The only way to cycle music ingame is to hit escape and turn off and back on the sound....it will load a new track.

Jukebox will not be returning and here's the workaround EVE ingame tracksBlink
