Yeah, maybe 30% down, but that's still 70% of usage. It's just, as far as I've been around this game, bombers were always a secondary role in most cases. So in any given activity, you may fly something else, but then the use of an SB may arise and so that is what you use. I've flown them a little, but I never set out to train bombers, it was just handed to me when I trained for a Buzzard which was my first T2 ship in the game. It's just, I don't think I'd take something like an SB or a Naga into a DED site... but they certainly have their uses elsewhere. If you are going to be heavy into DED sites, then you would probably be looking for Null space activity, maybe even move there. I think SB has more use out in null due to bomb usage, the ability to AOE rats and players.

I didn't mean to put you off - SB's are quite fun. But unless you're a real pro, they're tough to PvP in and win. Yes there are videos on youtube about amazing things done by bombers. I can show you many more bombers that were 1 or 2 shotted :) The important thing is to have fun though. Bombers are great for sneaking around nullsec and avoiding gate camps (even when they're bubbled if you know what you're doing). They have awesome DPS for their size which makes them a favorite for - structure bashing, of all things! Bombs are fun to use but tricky to master. Don't discard bombers because of my say so - play with them by all means. But they're not so easy to fly WELL.

The only way to get experience is to fly them often :)

No worries! It isn't putting me off :) It's honest comments and I consider every thing I read here. And because of it I have to conclude from all these information that SBs are not a solo ship unless I just want to fly them for fun. Haha.

Alright! Secondary or even tertiary ship for me it shall be.

A few more days before Frigate V for me and a few more sub-skills and I'll be in my first T2 Frigate :)
