How many did the survey before replying to posts? there's questions on mining, theres questions on outpost building and stuff in between and a couple place to put comments that are pretty open ended.

Few of the questions have me worried tbh, but i'll keep the worry to myself since it might be unfounded, but i like others are scratching there heads because the one industry that really needs looked at an supplies everything isnt even mentioned, i'll take that to mean your happy with it an leaving it alone, oh well

Indeed, a lot of the questions seem to point towards sharing industry tasks with friends..

Yeah I don't like the idea they're floating of making S&I more of a co-op thing. I hated the exploration changes (cough loot spew cough)...I hope they don't do something stupid like that to S&I.

I logged in and seen this survey link, so I clicked it and made it through a few pages of questions, then got stumped when it asked me a question about S&I, and I could not figure out what the hell S&I stood for, then I recalled that it was a industry survey. Roll

All answered although I had no idea how hard or easy outpost construction and upgrading was as I'd never done it. Had to answer though so said 'super hard' simply because it can't be easy.. it's eve right?

That's a standard demographic question, as are the age and national location questions. Mildly surprised there wasn't a socio-economic question too.


I get the distinct stench of 'co-operative industry' on the horizon. Don't like that idea, and if forced down our throats, don't think it will go over very well.

Mining is classed as PvP now


On a former account I was in an industrial corp and we would mine out a .5 system. This resulted in us getting war dec'd by an alliance in the other that viewed the belts in the system as being for their personal use.

They did have "co-operative industry" on that survey a lot. Curious, but apprehensive.

I woundn't mind, say, the ability to delegate collection of finished production runs. Or maybe the ability to assign someone to use my BPs without surrendering control over them - maybe a corporate BP library, into which you can enter or remove BPOs, and from which only you can remove your personal BPOs, but which is available to anyone with the proper roles to use/research/invent?

At that level, co-operation would be excellent, and useful. Beyond that, I'd want to take a long, slow, careful look.
